One morning, as you leave the house you step on a small green bottle, breaking it. Just as you begin to curse about there being a bottle on your doorstep the air fills with a thick, red smoke. The smoke slowly takes the form of a draenie from the waist up, below the waist is smoke leading back into the shattered remains of the bottle. Just as you form your first question, the draenie stops you and says "I know what you're thinking. That I'm a genie. Well, sort of. I only grant one very specific wish." With a puzzled look you manage to mouth the word "What?" to which the genie responds "I offer you a chance to leave your mundane life behind. Live as a great explorer and adventurer. I offer you the chance to enter the World of WarCraft and live your days in the world of Azeroth. However, once you go to Azeroth, you cannot return to Earth!" The draenie then stares at you intently, clearly waiting on an answer.
What do you choose?
Rules:
You can come back to life if you're killed, only by rez'ing though. No corpse runs.
You do feel pain.
You're capable of being any class you would like, however, you have to put in the time to learn it. You can't just say yes and then enter Azeroth throwing huge fireballs.
You do age. Think of it as Azeroth from a lore perspective, not a game-play perspective.
You enter Azeroth in its current time-frame, y'know, the Defias are all but dead, Outland has been 'saved' and the war in Northrend is getting ready to climax.
You will retain your human form. You cannot be take on another body than your own, with two exceptions: If you learn the ways of druidism you will be able to take the forms druids take and if you have a health condition that would prevent this from being possible (I.E. You're in a wheelchair) that will be ignored. Your body will work properly. This however does NOT mean you will instantly be in great shape. Barring the exception, you go as you are right now.

Every sane person who says YES should think it over, until his answer turns out to be NO. If you dont realize why then you should be thinking more.

I never decided if I would go. I was just looking through some of the fan art and it was good enough that I thought about what WoW would look like if it were somehow real, and this eventually came to mind. For all of those saying no just because it's dangerous, which it is, keep in mind you'd be able to see and do things FAR more amazing than anything Earth will ever have to offer. I know you can play the game, but God knows that's not the same.
Isn't the chance to be a legendary hero, to slay dragons, to ride dragons, to time-travel and all that worth the danger?

I never understood the obsession with killing dragons. I mean, in WoW, they're mostly evil and have already shown their aggression on the innocent, so killing them is relatively justified, but I don't really get what's the thrill with seeking out dragons to kill. Personally, I find demonic villains more thrilling to kill.
Riding dragons would definitely be fun though.

Maybe.
Blood elf warlock
Your live as a warlock, hated for chosing the fel way, respected on the battle field. You fight battles against and with eachother against the scourge in the snowy plains of northrend but also inside yourself and your addiction.
But then I think of my family, if just I could take the with me. And yet. Do I wont to put them in a world of WAR?
I know the game, the book, the universe and I love it. But I also love my family and I would never put them in the crossfire of the Alliance and the Horde.
You sir, gave me a headache!
Edit:
But if my memory was deleted and replaced with what a blood elf warlock would know in the age i enter the world I say yes.
especially if my family's memory was deleted too.

I put on my robe and wizard hat.
Otherwise, I choose orc shaman, and basically do what Thrall does, promote peace and defend the Horde.
Or.... In a more likely scenario for me personally... I'm a human warlock who keeps to himself and uses his succubus to seduce women.
So yeah, I put on my robe and wizard hat.

Tough question.
On one hand I'm presented the opportunity to restart my life, to be given a second chance and to be able to begin everything again the way I know how to now.
On the other hand, this also shows to me this: What would I do? How would I survive? Do I want to abandon what family and life I have now for this? Is it worth it?
I'd have to give this more thought.

yes, I'd love to live in the world of warcraft!
Sign me up as a death knight!
EDIT: human or undead, means no difference to me
