in the lava to your right when you walk in there is a item in the water and everyone must click it and get hit with his breath and break all the armor they got on aka the debuff will change

When you enter the boss' room there is a large interactable Magma Vortex on the right hand side in the lava. You have to swim into the lava and down a little to be able to click it. When you do you'll get a debuff called Hellsteel Plating which does light ticking damage while you have the debuff.

In order to remove the debuff you need to get hit by the frontal breath the boss does, though it ticks many times so you should move out of the way after removing the debuff. Doing so will do ~25k damage to the whole raid so if you're doing it in a 30 man like we did, I'd recommend you clear in two sets. Once you successfully cleared your debuff, it will be replaced by Shattered Hellsteel and you're safe to kill the boss.

It should be noted this is a personal achievement so you only have to clear your own plating to receive the achievement, meaning if you wanted you could "accidentally" get hit by the breath for a tick in your main raid and get it if you miss it in an achievement run.

Once you've received the debuff, the constant damage from the debuff will interrupt any out-of-combat channeled effects like summoning or eating food, so make sure you've done all that BEFORE you start the achievement!

Instructions for Kazzara - Before attacking Kazzara, everyone in the raid must go to the right, and in the lava there’s a fiery orb, click it to get the Hellsteel Plating debuff. When the fight starts, you need to stand a bit in Kazzara’s fiery frontal. The debuff will change to Shattered Hellsteel and achievement requirements are now met. If you die from the frontal, the achievement will still count.

This is a personal achievement.

When you enter the room, directly to the right, there is a Molten Vortex in the lava. You need to swim down and click it to gain a debuff called Hellsteel Plating which does a little bit of ticking damage while active.

To remove the debuff, you will need to get hit by Hellbeam, try to move out right away. If you have a large group people might die as removing the debuff does raid-wide damage, so you may need to do it in multiple groups.

Once you clear your debuff you will have a new debuff called Shattered Hellsteel. Once everyone has converted their debuff you can kill the boss.

If you are headed to Amalgamation, be sure the clear the trash around the table on the platform in the first few trash groups. You will the Expired Experiment behind the table for the Echo of Neltharion achievement.
