Get the boss down to about 30% health and then have 5 pre-determined players /sleep until they start emerald dreamin. They will all be able to spot butterflies scattered around the boss arena. Click them all and a large moth will spawn next to the boss. Kill the moth then finish the boss off. The Moth is seemingly untankable by the way, and it will often cast a large spiral of orbs that need to be dodge, otherwise you’ll get knocked back and you can be wombo combo’d to death just by getting hit by one of these orbs. So be careful.

At any point during the fight you'll have 5 people /sleep. They need to be in the sleeping animation for a few seconds and they'll wake up a green dreaming version of themselves much like how it works in the Emerald Dream when you do this. This will allow them to see these green butterflies around the room. Each person needs to collect one of them and once you have all 5 the Manifested Monarch will spawn. It can be tanked but didn't appear to do anything. Once it's killed you can kill the boss.

The only slight problem is that taking any form of damage will interrupt the sleeping animation. While most of the damage on the fight is avoidable, the ticking damage from the flowers being down is not, meaning you have to soak any flower before you try to /sleep or the process will be interrupted. We found it easiest to just sleep on pull but if you don't have enough people get to sleep in time you can wait for flowers to spawn, quickly soak them and then sleep before the next set happens as well.

This bugged out for us. We activated the Monarch around the start of the second main phase and killed it. Then we got a second spawn in the third main phase, and killed it again. We did not get credit for the achievement.

EDIT: we re-did this and it re-spawned again, but we didn't kill it this time and got the credit. So if you see it respawn, just ignore it (maybe have a tank lead it away) and kill the boss.

Our guild completed this last night.
Through trial and error, I wanted to share what we did to achieve this.
Have /sleep macrod or copy and paste ready because you may need to type it more than once, and time is of the essence.
Have your chosen few ready to slumber in advance.

The start of the fight is not suitable, flowers spawn really fast and will disrupt your sleep within seconds. 30% is not suitable as the speed of flowers spawning increases.
The best time to do this we found was the minute the wardens became active, flowers are not spawning during this phase, so no ticking damage to wake you, just ensure you are not going to get splash damage from the warden (big treeant).
As dream state, you can cross the lines on the floor without taking damage, reach the butterfly as fast as you can. The butterflies are on the edges of the encounter. You need to physically click on the butterfly for it to count. Running over it will not. If you mouse over the butterfly a cog will appear. They are light green in colour, and not the easiest to see but it will be the only thing flapping slowly around. The butterflies do not roam very far, and they are scattered so don't have everyone whose sleeping stand together, spread. If you fail to collect a butterfly, just remember roughly where it is and sleep closer to that spot, this will help you reach the butterfly quicker.

After 5 players have clicked on 5 butterflies. The matriach will spawn, we timed this to just as the wardens died. The matriach it will immediately start lashing out white orbs, so between soaking flowers you need to dodge as the knock back can be unfortunately timed killing you easily. We burnt down the moth fast (it needs to die before the boss does), ~~but there is a bug whereby the moth reappears after another warden phase, do not kill the moth again as you will not be awarded the achievement~~. Just CC and have no one attack it. It appears that Blizzard have since fixed this bug, so killing the moth the second time will not cause any adverse issues, other than possibly your health pool. At this point just focus on the boss. and voila congratulations :D (I got the staff I wanted too, so win-win)

TL:DR; For the achive > get boss to 20-30% > wait for add phase > 5 playerse /sleep and click 5 buterflies to spawn a big one and kill it, then the boss.

Bit more descriptive:
There are 5 butterflies that spawn around the room - - These are consistently the same.
The butterflies can only be seen and interacted with by players who /sleep and pop out of their body in the green 'dreamy' state.

We positioned 4 players at 4 of the butterfly locations, they would /sleep spam on pull and pre-prep by clicking 4 of them.

We then dps'd the boss to about 20-30% and waited for the next add phase, at the start of the add phase a 5th player used /sleep and clicked the last butterfly.
Popped hero, nuked the adds, nuked the butterfly add and killed the boss.

DO NOT spawn this on pull... We thought it was a good idea, but the butterfly respawns each add phase. It has semi-random aggro and spawns a whirl of balls which fling people all over the place, it's a bad time to have it up for too long.

During Nymue’s boss fight, players need to go to the side of the platform (locations shown in the video) and type /sleep to go into the dreaming phase, where you’ll be able to see a small green butterfly. Players need to collect a total of 5 butterflies, and each player can only collect 1, so 5 players need to contribute. Damage may interrupt your sleep, so it’s best to do this at the beginning of the fight, or after the trees when there aren’t any plants to soak. Collecting the 5th butterfly will spawn a Manifested Monarch, this guy is annoying as he shoots out cloudy orbs which damage and knock you back. Also, the monarch will respawn after each trees phase if you don’t quickly defeat the boss. We first got Nymue down to around 15% then got the last green butterfly, to make sure we don’t have to deal with the monarch twice. So defeat the monarch, defeat the boss, and you got the achievement.

This is best done in first intermission when no flowers are up (this is to prevent people from being knocked out of sleep).

Send 5 people to the spawn points of the butterflies (see video), and have them /sleep. They should be able to click on a light green butterfly. When 5 of them are clicked, Manifested Monarch will spawn. Defeat the Manifested Monarch (avoid the balls-they knock back) and defeat before the next intermission (where it might spawn agan? if it does it's a failed achievement according to others here).

My guild attempted this on Normal today. It looks like the moth does not respawn on each add phase. So you could just spawn it at pull and kill it and focus on fight.

Defeat Nymue, Weaver of the Cycle after successfully collecting 5 Dream Projections while asleep and defeating the Manifested Monarch in Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope on Normal Difficulty or Higher.
