Confiming you do not need to not die for this. You just have to cap 5 in a row without dieing. So if you die then cap 5 without dieing you can get the achievement.

To capture a cart you need to change its color / owner. So as Horde make a Blue colored cart turn Red and vice versa as Alliance. You do not have to "score" the cart, similar to the Escort Service achievement.

This one requires you to do it five times whitout dying.

I have finally cracked the code on this one. I just got it, and the key is in the term "capture" **. You need to be there when it changes colour to your faction AND be there when it DELIVERS at the end. Repeat 5 times. Without dying.

** It's actually the Escort Service that is wrong, in their usage of the word capture. That achiev only requires you to cahnge the color of the cart, while all the other achievements referring to "capture" means to ALSO be there at the delivery.

I have been trying on this for a few times now, and I'm pretty sure you need to NOT die at all. In one round i died very early, before i could cap antyhing. Then i stayed alive for a long time and got 6 or 7 caps (note, not deliveries, but cart caps) and nothing.

I just completed this without having to change the colour of the cart. What you need to do is capture the cart only, i.e. be there when it gets inside the depot. Of course, it has to be in your team's possession.
My advice is to just stay away from the middle one, because that's where all the action is, and stick to the left or right, according to the situation. If you have to pass through the middle, stick to the wall so as to avoid enemies.
Pay attention that if your team catches many other carts aside from your own, the time won't be enough for you to complete the achievement. Each cart capture gives ~ 100 points and cart possession gives ~ 1point per 2sek.
Bringing a friend (healer!) is a good idea, but it can be done solo in a random battleground too.

As at 20 Feb 2013 all you have to do is to "be there when it gets inside the depot" as Taoma claims.

You need not need to be there when it changes colour to your faction.

I did not die, I was there for 5 color changes and the capture, but did not get achievement. The only thing I can think of that caused it to not give achievement, was it was the last capture of the game that gave us the win. It looks as if you must have achievement done before game is over

I got this much easier as a Holy Paladin than Retribution. You only need to be there as the mine goes into the depot, I waited until we were awarded the points too as a precaution. Managed to get the achievement with the winning mine cart.

As an engineer I had fun with Invisibility Field. I popped Speed of Light and then Invisibility tinker when running between carts, this helped avoid large groups of opposing faction members. Don't forget about taking the high road. Literally! where the Enrage and Healing buffs are located. Goblin Glider or Charred Glyph helps also. (Noggenfogger Elixir has a chance of providing slow fall)

Hi, I've had an issue: I had a really dominated battleground in which no one of my faction (horde) died, and we went very close to the not letting ally get a mine cart too. However, I was there when we captured the first cart by the water, the 2nd by the lava, and these 2 are absolutely counted because I also got partial credit for the achi to capture 5 carts with 5 different routes. 3rd one was again by the water, 4th was north-west (and I got credit again for the other achi) and 5th was again by the lava, which was the one that scored our victory.

What is the issue here, I'm sure I was in the capture aura of all carts, any idea why I didn't get credit for this achievement (five for five)?

I think there has to be a bug with this achievement

I captured 6 carts in one game, and it never registered above 4. I was next to the cart when it captured. I'm not sure why it didn't trigger
