Health potion/ Mana potion macro?

I often find myself having many different types of health/mana potions that return different amounts of health/mana. To use them i need to have 3 different health potion and 3 different mana potions on my action bar.
This take up more space than I would like and was hoping a macro could fix this problem.
I would like the macro to use any health potion in my inventory, if I have one. And another that does the same thing but for mana potions. Using the ones that return the most health/mana first and the ones that return the least last.
If anyone knows a macro like this I would love to see it.

As far as I know, there are no validation functions for macro's to see how low your health is, so you can use the most efficient potion.
I'm quite sure that this is not possible.

Try this
/userandom <potion1>, <potion2>, <potion3>
Replace the <potion> tag with your own potion.
E.g.
/userandom Super Healing Potion, Major Healing Potion, Greater Healing Potion
You could also try adding #show or #showtooltip before the /userandom command, but I am not sure if it is going to work.

Actually I have one such macro for healthstones, and I assume it would work with potions too:/use <potion 1>
/use <potion 2>
/use <potion 3>
etc.If you don't have any <potion 1>s it'll fall through to <potion 2>s and then <potion 3>s.

Exactly. And you can put the one that heals the most on top of the list.

Would you have to press this macro more than once if you don't have a "<potion 1>" or does pressing it once automatically go down to "<potion 2>", if you dont have a "<potion 1>". I can't test it cause I'm not at home.
