So what is the fastest way from 50 to 60? I'm a lvl 49 hunter (troll) trying to lvl to 80 as fast as possible, but 50 to 60 seems to go so slow for me.
Thanks for the advice everyone. My "problem" is resolved.

50-60 goes slow for me too. What I try to do is Felwood, the Un'Goro, then Winterspring. I usually end up finishing in plaguelands

I'd say questing/battlegrounds/instances

That usually works for me... otherwise I go with my alternate leveling route:
Azshara > Burning Steppes > Both Plaguelands
... but only as a last resort. There are maybe 5 Alliance quests (and perhaps +5 more for Horde) in Azshara, and Burning Steppes... actually, BS is still a fun place to go every now and again.
Personally, I'd go and do the quests in any of those zones, and queue for the BG/LFD while doing them. It will make it go quite a bit faster.

I always spend some time in Winterspring around that levels, just for the excellent atmosphere.

Its even better if you happen to be a skinner.
There have been times where I've just decided to grind out levels in the yeti caves because of the XP + gold + leather + drops.

Random BGs for AV. My mage is in the 50s. I get about half a level for a win in a Random BG AV.

I'd say questing/battlegrounds/instances
As opposed to some other way of lvling?
Gathering, Exploring, World PvP

Those are not viable ways to level (viable in this case meaning fast).
Anyways, I prefer doing Winterspring and dungeons. The plaguelands are too depressing (plus I hate the coloration of the haze), Un'Goro mob density is too much (like STV), and Silithus... lol.

He asked for the fastest way to level, I gave him the 3 fastest ways to level, the others are viable in the fact that they grant you experience

I never was a big fan of leveling through dungeons or BGs, I always felt quest grinding was the best way if you knew where to go. My friend has done nothing but dungeon grind on his protadin for the last month, he just turned 55. I made my druid on the 1st and he just hit 45. Although he doesnt have heirlooms and I do, I made a prot warrior 2mths back w/ heirlooms and did nothing but dungeons, by the time he was 25 I was burned out by how long it was taking
