Look at all the hate comments for MoP. There wasn't nearly this many with TBC, WotLK or cata. WoW has had a HUGE decline in subscribers during cata, and now there are all these players wanting to quit.
Because this has
never
happened before after any sort of change in the game is announced.
I hear Harold Camping has some employment opportunities for you.

I hear it was the
spiritual
ending of the world ... again
On topic: I'm still not convinced MoP is not a very elaborate april fool's joke requiring a five month setup.
But Wow is still not dead. I doubt MoP will 'kill' it. A problem with Wow is that it has to attract new players as veteran players leave (simply because they're moving on). Panda's might attract a whole new target group of players.

Blizz is smart, and MoP isn't even in Alpha yet. That means that most of this is subject to change.
It will end in 2 xpacs, lv 100 cap, when Demon Hunters become the new Hero class, and when we down Sargeras. Mark my words.

When people stop playing it.

I'm with Kailhun. Perhaps this was all an elaborate way to take distract people while they put together the real expansion. Yeah, no, that won't happen. But I can dream, you killers of dreams you. /cry

Going by older MMOs that still have live servers with obviously a big enough playerbase to operate normally (i.e. Everquest, Ultima Online, Asheron's Call and hell even Meridian 59) WoW still has a lot of years ahead of it, Blizz isnt just going to pull the cord a year or 2 after we reach lvl100, hell I would bet we will see levels past 100 regardless of what was said before, if WoW is still making a profit it will still be around. And that should be a good time from now, a MMO like Everquest, which was the most popular up until WoW came out peeked out at 500k subs iirc and is still going, they are 18 expansions strong with talks of another one.

WTF BLIZZ? Giving Allies shammys? WoW is dead i tell you! Shamans are only supposed to be horde and no one will play this stupid game anymore!
WTF BLIZZ? A class that starts at 55? That isn't right!11one!eleven!1 You are killing the game Blizz!
WTF BLIZZ? 10 and 25 mans giving the same gear rewards? Stop catering to the casuals Blizz. No one wants to play your stupid game anymore.
^^^ Sound familiar? There were more with each expac, but I didn't want to spend all day proving a point.

I love the prophetic predictions of wow's death. Been happening for a while now. Like all the 'end of the world' crazies in RL.

When people stop playing it.
That's always the right answer right there.
And to the minority of idiots screaming about 'Kung Foo Panda'.....yeah those morons can quit and leave the game to the rest of us.

WoW will die when Blizzard shuts down the servers.
