I just started playing hunter and wondering:
What stats do hunters need right now?
Can someone show me the stats in first second third?

Noxxic is a good site that lists them all depending on spec.

Also, once you hit max level, you need to get your hit and expertise to 7.5% each (without going over if you can help it).

But preferably over than under.

7.7 or 7.8 is indeed a better result than 7.4 - hit is the absolute top contributor to dps as long as you are under the cap - hit isn't competeing with agility directly, but with other secondary stats and they are far behind hit up to and including the last point of hit from 2549 to 2550 (the same goes for expertise btw).
Hit is so valuable that a full hit gem is preferable to a hybrid hit/agi gem if you utilize just 20-30 of that hitrating (yes wasting 130-140 rating). Expertise is not the same here, as thats a red stat, competing directly with agi in gems.

And disregarding pvp power thats the same for PvE. (though I would express it as crit~mastery).

@dreadhooker and @narinomi
Neither of you are really backing up your listings, making them - in reality - useless for anyone coming here, reading the topic, to get a sense of it.
I don't pvp a whole lot myself (so I don't care so much about gear priorities for pvp), but the power vs resilience argument seems to be more one of tactics than actual priorities; take more incoming damage and stay alive for longer, or deal more outgoing damage so you lessen the damage intake by killing.
I suspect it also depends on what type of pvp you are doing - and to some degree pvp power on your healer (if you have one) will make up for less resilience on you (while you take more damage, they heal more as well - though power on the healer and resilience on you would make both even more powerful).
I am interested in seeing some backup of the priorities you are listing for pvp, some of the ideas behind them (pvp isn't so much about raw math/number crunching as pve is, after all) - please provide for both sides of the argument.

On Ironhawk, its also important to note that since the presented comparsion is actual damageoutput based on res/power startegies, ironhawk does not belong in there, because then it would only apply to hunter versus hunter - now it applies to all classes.
