If I recall correctly, you can do so under settings on the log in screen and in the ESC menu in game under the top most selection(do not remember text there).

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but where do i change the direct x setting? I'm having the same problem with errors and crashes -_-
This setting is not available for Windows XP - it always run in DX9 mode there.
But I've probably identified on source of constant game crashes, that is not related to gfx settings.

You may want to post the entire error next time.

Hey all, figured I might as well jump in here although it looks like Princess was able to get this worked out. The 132 itself is akin to a 'Check Engine Light' in your car. It doesn't say much by itself other than something is off. If you ever receive this error, feel free to contact us or you can check out our
132 support page
for general troubleshooting steps.
Cheers!

Hey Depotant, strange that you get it for only one character - that tells me that there's something likely going on clientside that is causing the issue. Do you use any AddOns? If so, you may first want to
reset the user interface
to see if that does the trick. Also, the 132 page I linked above may be of help. If the issue still persists, you're welcome to reach out to us directly through the
support portal
.
Hope this helps

I get this error when i m in guild bank.
How to fix that?

Hello!
I'm having this error immediately when I try to launch the game with whatever file there is in the folder. The description provided at Battle.net Technical Support helped me to check my DirectX thingie, and it says that I have the DirectX 11 version. I checked the drivers, as well, they also seemed to be updated, so I have no more idea how to fix it.
Any ideas? Should I reinstall the whole game? I'm really not good at these things, I just want to do my dailies :P

if you have addons, start WoW, at the character selection screen, in the lower left corner click the addons button and disable all, should be able to get into the game, log out, enable the addons again. If you can get into the game then all is fine. If you get the error again then you have to systematically turn off the addons one by one to see which one it is. For me it was Fishing Buddy.
start with the last addon you had installed.

I would like to share my experience with this matter, hope it helps :)
This is my own tries and were perfect for me.
I have noticed that i got this error when I have updated my Addons.
Well what I did to enjoy playing the game is the following:
First
: from the Launcher (if your game is not starting at all)
HELP ---> Repair Tool
Second
: (Launcher)
Options ---> Game Preferences ---> Restore Default
Third
: Delete all the addons that you are not using especially after the updates you are have done because usually the updated addons are enabled automatically when you start the game and they are you don't want your unused ones to be enabled.
Does this mean you can never use your favorite addons again? Not Really ! You can again install them and enable them as you go and see which one was causing the problem.
Note
:
This is the order I have followed and I am not saying follow the same order to fix your problem, I am just sharing my experience with you but feel free to try it.
This has worked
100%
for me.
Best Regards

Was trying all kinds of things
but this video
finally fixed it for me (in case anyone has this same problem and none of the above works!)

Okay, I'm not saying this is THE fix but I tried this on my game and it seems to be working. Instead of clicking the WoW desktop icon I ran the Battle.net shortcut. I looked at settings, scrolled down to World of Warcraft. I enabled the 32 bit in lieu of 64 bit on a whim. I applied the settings and started the game. It seems to work okay now. Hopefully this helps the folks that have unsuccessfully tried other methods.

What worked for me was running the game as an admin. fixed the issue. didn't have to delete anything or reset anything.
