Can I suggest that the 3D viewer allows more than one item on preview along with holding weapons and a green screen along with a way to change the random look of the selected race like changing the hair color and style.

You can view multiple items at the same time by making a group in the
Comparison Tool
.

then someone needs to update it so it'll be easier to display the different hairstyles, head types, and skins since I've already uninstalled the stuff I don't use but still don't have enough space to install the game to use on an offline viewer.

That seems like an awful lot of work for our development team to implement something that I'm fairly sure would be useful for very few people who've removed the data you're referring too here.

I know its a tall order but it would also help the people who can't afford to buy the game nor able to install it due to the huge amount of space it demands also it'd help the people who want to try the in-game content before buying.

There's an unlimited free trial.
I think that there are valid reasons why more options would be nice/useful in the ModelViewer (like the fact that the default dwarf's beard covers most of the chest item) but I'm not sure that your own reasons apply to many other people and therefore don't make a very compelling argument. We can hope that time can be found in the schedule for additions like this but I would not expect them in the near future. It would likely be a very long term goal.

so wheres the unlimited free trail that surpasses the level 15 limit and that doesn't ask for too much space?

I'm not sure how large the Starter Edition download is, but it's likely near the same size as the full version.
Players on Starter Edition (
FAQ
) game licenses have the following restrictions:
Characters cannot exceed level 20, 10 gold, and 100 trade skill ranks.
Characters cannot participate in Pet Battles.
Chat communication limited to say and party.
Cannot send whispers unless the Starter Edition character is on the recipient’s friends list, or unless the Starter Edition character is replying to a whisper.
Cannot trade, create or join guilds, invite players into a party, or disable experience gains.
Cannot use the mailbox or Auction House.
Voice chat and Real ID features are disabled.
If there are login queues, the system will prioritize players who have full accounts.
Starter Edition accounts are not eligible for value added services (character transfers, faction changes, etc.).
You can add one Starter Edition license to each Battle.net account. You can do so via the Account Management page at worldofwarcraft.com.(##RESPBREAK##)12##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

I mention the trial mostly in response to the "people who want to try the in-game content before buying" comment. Drive space is cheap and WoW can even be installed on a thumbdrive or external hard drive but, as I said, the size of the WoW client really isn't a pressing reason for Wowhead to develop a wider range of customization tools in its ModelViewer.

mm...well I won't really play the game...just need the files so i can run them through the modelviewer...but I've tried the battle.net but for some reason my account was suspended...and I haven't touched it in a long time ever since before my previous laptop died on me. That's why it'll be better for some of us if the team on wowhead added basic customization so we can see what each skin looks like while applying on items and not have to worry bout the game restrictions nor amount of space we have left. Also it'll help the machima makers that can't play the game.

Everyone has the very same client* so it will have the full size once it finished downloading.
However, you can prevent the Launcher from downloading it in full and instead play once the "Play" button becomes available, it will download additional required content while playing.
Though, I think the installer creates empty placeholder files for the complete installation, but on newer versions of Windows, these empty parts should not actually take up hard disk space.
Anyway, RoyalBloodElf, if you don't have 20-25 GB of hard disk space available, it sounds like your computer is so old it may have problems with WoW altogether.
* besides language differences and a flag in the Config.WTF which denotes the type of account you last logged in with, to my knowledge it was only used to enable preloading of content for Cata preorders.

it's not old since its a W7 but I've downloaded some other games that took up the space and even after cleaning the stuff i don't use out I still don't have that much space.
