Did Blizzard ever explain the reason they chose these particular weapons for these new BS plans? I'm curious because other than the dragon-headed mace these are some ugly ugly ugly weapons that seem a complete waste of mats to create. I'm sure some people are very happy that they brought these weapons back in order to complete a transmog set, but I don't think I'm alone in my opinion that BC had some of the worst weapon designs in all of WOW.
Hopefully they expand upon this concept and add more plans from other xpacs, or maybe tier or pvp sets that are no longer available in the game.
Also, though I'm nitpicking, but couldn't they have selected a different color form the ingot? It looks like something the klaxxi would craft their carrot colored weapons with.

Subjective.
Some people find them ugly, others find them awesome.
The Lionheart blade is fantastic IMO; but I don't really like the others.
On another note, what's the average price you guys ask per ingot?
The ingots are BoP so you can't charge anything for them. The weapons themselves sell for quite a lot of money. On my realm, the basic Lionheart costs up to 3k gold, the Champion Lionheart costs up to 18k, and the supreme Lionheart costs almost twice that much.
Considering that it takes nearly a month and A LOT of Living Steels and Spirits of Harmony to craft them, this isn't so surprising.

I am making the agi 2hander for a guy on my realm wed for 16500g for the final stage. I don't want any of the weapons and just use the CD daily for the patterns.....so I don't feel the need to price gouge people. But it really depends on your server and what each part of the mats cost...then add your fee

The reason for those particular plans was because the original recipes were for specialist blacksmiths in BC exclusively. When the specs were dropped, so was the capability to make the originals.
