If your goal in finding a new guild is to have a long-term, stable, FUN environment to kill internet monsters and steadily progress, keep reading.
Short Version:
Faction: Alliance
Sever: Baelgun-US (PST/Shadowburn BG/Chicago Datacenter)
Schedule: T/W/Su 7:30-9:30 pm EST
Relaxed attendance requirements (see below)
Progression: Normal, T15 12/12, T14 6/6 6/6 4/4
Casualcore raiding (No one gets yelled at when/if they screw up, the schedule is light, but raiding is taken seriously and people are expected to perform well and be prepared)
The Long Version:
Current Progression Needs:
Currently we are looking for competent healers and dps with acceptable progression/item level (min ilvl 500) to finish ToT and begin 5.4 raids. For raider rank, folks should have previous (non-LFR) raiding experience
New players to the guild begin at 'recruit' status and are promoted to 'raider' rank when they have demonstrated a high enough performance. Players with 'raider' rank are given priority invitations to raid. 'Recruits' will be invited to main raids when needed to fill out low attendance nights, guild LFR nights, and alt raid nights.
Raiding Schedule:
Tuesday: 7:30-9:30 EST
Wednesday: 7:30-9:30 EST
Sunday: 7:30-9:30 EST
Current Progression:
We raid normal modes, and use the remaining time in the tier to make sure that everyone was present for each boss kill and improve our gear for progression on the next tier.
T15 Normal: 12/12 (6/3/2013)
T14 Normal: 6/6, 6/6, 4/4
We have two principles as a guild:
1. All our raids are optional, we believe the biggest source of burnout is feeling like you HAVE to show up. Take that out, and people just enjoy raiding more. Rather play Diablo tonight than raid? No big deal, we'll still be raiding. Need a month off to focus on finals? Take care of business. Having a kid, and you won't be around for the next year? We'll be here when you get back.
2. Maturity and competence are required from all guildmates. Constructive criticism is welcome and encouraged, but hateful comments and personal attacks are not. Being respectful to each other creates and maintains a much better game atmosphere for everyone.
Our recruitment goal is to have around 30 people online at raid time. We are not recruiting a huge bench of people to sit around and be bored each night. On occasions when we are too full, we request volunteers to sit (usually there are a few people who show up in case they’re needed, but would rather level an alt or watch TV with the family).
Progression raids are generally 25 man, but we've been down on numbers for a few weeks and have run one or two 10 man raids instead. 2 hours of solid raiding (IE starting on time, no giant AFK breaks, minimal stupid wipes) has proven effective for us to enjoy raiding without feeling like we've been run through a meat grinder. And if you can sit through a 2 hour movie, you don't need a 10 minute break in the middle of a raid.
If you think that you would make a good fit for our guild, please apply on our website below. If you would like to talk more about our guild, feel free to post below or whisper one of our officers in game (or myself, battletag is Zaralynda#1825).
