Goblin and gnomish could use an overhaul, Engineering

Back when I started engineering, in the burning crusade, the theme of engineering was you got most of the fun stuff as either spec, the only exception I can think of is the gnomish world enlarger, but I digress, as a goblin engineer you got superior explosives, and as gnomish you got superior gizmos,
With them being about equal in terms of how much of a bonus the explosives/gizmos had over each other.
Now it seems to be gnomish gets all the fun toys, and goblin have not received any fun unique things to compensate for this...Whatever happened to stuff like the goblin mining helmet...Both specs of engineers should get fun and unique stuff, the fact that GOBLIN engineer can be described as the boring but practical version is very distressing, when engineering should never be described as boring.
Am I the only one who feels like the line between gnomish and goblin has been made to "Give toys to gnomish, Give explosives to goblins, maybe, if we feel like it, and it won't be that great."
I'm not going to say gnomish shouldn't get fun toys exclusive to them, they should and they will, but goblins should receive the same treatment, perhaps a goblin army knife that has a better chance to rez, or has a 50/50 shot of rezzing in combat, or killing the user...Stuff like that...I want to have the crazy goblin gizmos I signed up for...

since most of the toys/explosives are outdated, the main difference for me is the teleporters.
Toshley´s station, gadgetzan: both hellholes. you can buy noggenfrogger there.
Everlook+area 52 seems a way better combo to me, no noggerfrogger, but you can buy transmog gear.
Basically, you can´t buff goblin too much, or else it will become mandatory.
