This isn't appropriate for Wowhead. Instead of linking something ranty and insulting like that, I would encourage you to just type up your own feelings on a topic when you want to start a discussion in future.

I gotta wonder what a guy who tattoos his face classes as a "business trip"
If you can get past the gangsta speak, and the f-bomb every 2 seconds, then yeah pretty much spot on.
BTW, as the OP didn't bother to warn you, THIS GUYS SWEARS A LOT, so Not Safe For Work.

He made some good points, then
completely
destroyed it with his personal assault on some random dude venting on the forums, assuming they represent every negative aspect of "geek". That's not even ad hominem anymore, that's ad stereotypem (copyright pending)
It is correct that Oceanic realms are negatively affected by being restarted at the same time as NA ones due to the time difference. And if the mentioned poster and 9-24 of his guildies planned to raid at that time, then their time schedule is disrupted. They planned to raid tonight, not do something else. It's like going to the movies and seeing the theater is closed for repairs - which are entirely necessary, but you as the customer will feel rejected.
It doesn't mean that they won't know what to do with themselves while the servers are offline. It doesn't mean that they're gonna sit in front of their PCs all the time. Some will make dinner, go over to a friend's, or sit down in front of the TV, potentially with a lifemate. Whatever they'd do on any other evening. And yes, some will go to the forums, vent - and then do something else.
If you want to complain about that, go ahead, but you only know about them whatever they wrote in 3 or 4 lines. Don't fill in the blanks with your prejudices.

i don't know if you grasped the concept all the way (no harm intended) note*he mentions more or so the troll's who will post thread striking out at blizzard are the same people who sit in trade and troll and basically gamer's across all regions suffer equally, everyone has different schedules regardless of their time zone.

Yet he deducted that those who do complain on the forums must be the nerds without girlfriends.
