Screw the cloak, how do I kill the guys at the forge?

I got to exalted with the Black Prince, I got all the Secrets of the Empire, I get to the Forge on the Isle of Thunder, and then I'm promptly beat down by the mogu who show up. One would think that, as a stamina-stacking Blood DK with an ilevel of 515, I shouldn't be so squishy. How do I kill them and not die?(##RESPBREAK##)2060##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##There are those in this community who don't care for that terminology to be used passively. We try to respect that here. I've replaced it with something a bit more appropriate. Thank you.

The solo scenario right? Not landscape mobs?
The top comment on
The Thunder Forge
has a good run down. It might be better to switch to DPS since the NPC who is there is supposed to be a tank, and I don't remember if the anvils recharge so you might run out of anvils (to interrupt the insta-kill aoe) before you get him down as Blood.
But short of that: stand in green to heal, avoid meteors, as Frost I had to kite when the NPC was banished, not sure about Blood, click the anvils to stop the aoe, click the spear when it becomes activated at the end to kill the mob.

If you are a blood DK there's no reason you should be getting killed in this scenario, I completed it as a Blood Dk in 505 gear, and DPS gear at that.
On top of that you're dying to the MOGU? not even the sha mobs, but the MOGU?
The Shado-pan NPCs that help you, drop blue orbs that increase your damage and healing, those, combined with your own self-healing should make the mogu trivial as long as you avoid his AoE.
Second part is when you have to protect the blacksmith from the waves which again is absurdly easy as a blood DK, the only part that may be semichallenging is the sha boss, and that's only because the DPS of blood is rather low, so its possible to run out of anvils to interrupt its casting, but if you do it in DPS gear, and properly use cooldowns, you really should get it down.

That is not what she meant. Stam staking is a build type now. That well you prio stam over other things, but you still get a poo tonne of the needed stats. Plus as a DK seeing as most abilitys work of health pool, more stam is a good thing :P

anvils (to interrupt the insta-kill aoe)
Clarify. Which ability is this and what anvils are you talking about?

....the glowing ones all around, that they tell you to click to interrupt the giant mob's attack?

Stamina gearing is viable for 10 man content, and there is plenty of info out there to back it up, but beyond that Mastery is pretty much the clear winner.
I know you play a Warrior so its probably different, and all tanks play differently.
(Prot Paladins haste stacking for instance)

Giant mob? Do you mean the one with the lightning whirlwind ability? No, I learned to just stay away from him when he's doing that. The "You are being chased by lightning" part is what kills me every time. Or do you mean Vul'Kon?

Think the OP is referring to the part BEFORE the anvils with the waves of mogu and the three Shado-Pan helping out.
Sorry but I can't think of any advice for the first phase. I didn't have much problem with it personally. Just make sure you pick up the blue orbs that appear and quickly step out of anything that looks unhealthy.
Oh, and when you're chased by lightning, just keep moving until the thunderbolts stop.

This. And don't pull aggro on all the mobs. Let the Shado-Pan NPC's do their job and tank most of the mobs. Pick them off one at a time.

There are thunderbolts?
Oh, indeed. Yup, that worked. Thanks!
I'm now off to skewer Nalak.
