Supposedly an Old God presence. It was supported by the Five Pointed Star Theory, which has kinda fallen out of style.
But to definitively answer: we don't know. Something dangerous, no doubt.

It is speculated that the area where the Highborne landed may be in the empty area west of Deathknell. Wherever the Highborne landed, however, it has been hinted that there is some dark, twisted force contained beneath the earth there. Of the sinister beings that are currently known, it seems that an
Old God
, or perhaps a lieutenant thereof, may be chained deep in the grove, in the same style as
Myzrael
.
According to
The Founding of Quel'Thalas
:
His fleet finally landed on the beaches of the kingdom men would later call Lordaeron. Forging inland, the high elves founded a settlement within the tranquil Tirisfal Glades. After a few years, many of them began to go mad. It was theorized that something evil slept beneath that particular part of the world, but the rumors were never proven to be true. The high elves packed up their encampment and moved northward towards another land rich with ley energies.
Due to the ambiguity surrounding the number of remaining Old Gods, left over and imprisoned from their battle with the
Titans
, it is hard to discern if it could truly be one of them. According to some sources, three of the original five are said to be imprisoned within the depths of the world.

Hasn't Blizzard said that it wasn't an old god?
it might be an sealed void lord or demon. Perhaps a crazy titan that got insane becouse of the old gods? And if there is a old god in EK (highly likley that there is) then it would be in Uldaman. I consider it identical to Ulduar. The archiologist have only scraped the surface of the titan buildings there after all. And golems go crazy there.
Then there is the box in Stranglethorn. It's 25k years old or something. And the kurzen camp did go crazy becouse of a whispering crystal IIRC. So something titan and old god reside in the jungle.
And titans do build stuff near old gods. Wouln't suprice me if we got a Uldlantis home to the sea giants to inprison N'zoth.

Not that I'm aware of.

Thank you for some actual responses instead of stupid comments like 'a lot of d/c and a repair bill' and 'more dirt and soil'

Don't ask stupid and vague questions and you won't get snarky responses.

Just because you didn't know the subject matter doesn't make it stupid and vague. I knew immediately what he was talking about as soon as I saw the thread name. You didn't, because you probably aren't as well versed in the lore (not that that's a bad thing. Different strokes for different folks), but that doesn't give you the right to troll him.

I actually know a good deal about the Warcraft Lore Benzene. I just choose to answer vague and crappy questions with snarky responses and don't assume that the OP is talking about lore, geography, or geology. If you look at the rest of his threads they are all as vague and pointless as this one.

How about, "According to Warcraft Lore, there is a possibility that something may lay below Tirisfal Glades. Does anyone have any sources/information on this?"

So, essentially, you're saying "If the OP doesn't ask questions EXACTLY as I want them too, I'll act like a merciless @#$%."
Cool. I like your logic.
If you look at the rest of his threads they are all as vague and pointless as this one.
So what? If they have a valid question, answer it. Don't piss on them for asking questions you think are stupid.

Blizzard debunked the Old God thing already; it was either out of the magazine or at Blizzcon last year.

It was a good question, I agree with those above who said this... I've seen an entire video on youtube devoted to this topic, and Bliz had deliberately hinted at it to raise some curiosity. Also I don't think he worded it vaguely, I also knew exactly what he was referring to as soon as I saw the topic.
