Heroic Dungeon Spec ?

So I just hit 80 a few days ago and have been running a bunch of heroic dungeons to gear up for raids.
My question is: What spec should I go with? I am currently SL/FG specked and doing about 1400 DPS.
A guild mate says I should stick here because he is Aff speced and says it's terrible for Heroics.
Should I stick with this and respec just for the raid (going to go Aff.) or is there a better Heroic Dungeon spec I should be looking into?
Thanks a bunch

FG/Ember is excellent for those just starting heroics as its not as gear dependent as other specs.
I also leveled as SL/FG and loved it and quickly switch to FG/Ember when I hit 80 and noticed a nice boost in DPS. This spec is also much more viable now since the changes to pet scaling, now there is no excuse for your pet to die during a run, I rarely look at my FG's health anymore as its pretty much a non issue now.
I'm going to try out a haunt/ruin spec to give affliction a chance as I'm a bit bored of FG/Ember, The immolate/Incinerate spam gets a bit old.

This is the best spec for heroics, i have tried FG/Emberstorm but i got more dps with Meta/ruin. i can get 3500 to 4000 dps with this. You will top dmg and dps with this.
CoE>Corruption>SB>SB>SB>SB etc.

Pop meta and immolation aura and get close to your target while spamming SBs, this will increase DPS.
