Used to free Horde prisoners in Stormshield: Marshal Lyrdrea Daybreaker, Warlord Jugan and General Lizzie Heartbane.

These are found downstairs from the room where the generals are (turn right after entering). There's a guard on the bottom landing, and the three prisoners are in cages down there.

Found a key after killing the Prison Guard in front of the jail, they have a 5~10 min respawn

There is only one of the Prison Guard NPCs that drops this key, and he is located in the basement of the Alliance keep. When you enter the front room, he is at the bottom of the staircase you take from the back right corner of that main entry room. He drops Stormshield Prison Key for the achievement Rescue Operation.

Don't expect to reach him unless you are able to stealth, as there are plenty of heavy hitting guards in the entry room on the main floor! This is an easy matter for rogues and druids, although you have to be careful to weave your way around the guards. Alternately, you can use Tablet of Ghost Wolf as a shaman, or check out the comment by "HelloKitty" for Rescue Operation, which outlines how to get to him if you cannot stealth.

The Prison Guard himself is fairly easy to solo, and hits quite weakly. He drops a single Stormshield Prison Key each time he is killed. To get the achievement Rescue Operation, you simply free each of the 3 NPCs (Warlord Jugan, Marshal Lyrdrea Daybreaker and General Lizzie Heartbane) from the cages in the basement dungeon.

You need to wait 5-10 minutes for the guard to respawn and drop another Stormshield Prison Key, which you can use to open another cage. Each time you use it, it is consumed, hence why you have to wait and kill him 3 times.

Each time you free a prisoner, you get 75 honor and 25 conquest points. Sometimes the prisoners you want aren't spawned, in which case wait roughly 10 minutes for this to happen.

To make a quick getaway, wait for the Prison Guard to respawn another time and use the key to open up the cell holding Eska Sharphorn, which has a Dusty Scroll on the floor. Looting this, which has a 1 minute respawn timer, will give you 1 Scroll of Town Portal, allowing you to port back to Warspear.

managed to get that today, no biggy btw, for a feral druid.
sneaked inside.... got tapped on the shoulder by a npc and whacked instand for being to close.
after that it wasn't that bad, took out the guard grabbed key got cage opened and got into stealth cause assaulting guard wil make m scream for help.
at this go i had some ally looking for me but non were able to track me, lucky sod i am ye.
so after a good 30 mins and 3 cups a coffee i had the achie...
3 cups? yea last one was an irish one to celebrate

I just want to say if you are patient and are a loner like me, you can stay in here and just farm the guard. Gather up some keys and then free all the heroes for a "quick" 75 conquest and 225 honor with a few boxes. i usually head here if my group sucks AKA doesn't follow the raid leaders directions or helps with events.

As mentioned if you have the patience, and aren't detected while in the jail you can farm the guard and get the achievement in one go. While waiting grab Scroll of Town Portal from the prison floor too. Has a 1 minute respawn rate, usefull enough. Stack up, get achieve & done.

The cages have been missing for me since 6.2.2, so cant use the key on anything :/

Got this key as a "horde" merc and just to see if it'll work tried to use it to release horde prisoners as allience... and hey, it works. >.> Of course, it gives no credit, no honor, no nothing, but the troll dude was happy to finally be out of his cage xD

A word of caution, if like me you use your legendary ring to pvp, make sure you do not use it while killing the prison guard(dps rings only) as when its end aoe effect happens it will hit and aggro every single npc upstairs. I found this out the hard way.

Freeing the prisoners no longer gives Conquest Points.. only Honor.
