Grants a 10 min duration buff, that will spawn a boat whenever you are on the surface of a body of water.
This is instant and is faster then flying, your movement speed will be 430% of normal speed.

To get the Small Boat you need to gather a bunch of materials from around the Shimmering Expanse, which are all given to you through world quests except the Submarine Tar which is fished up from Submarine Tar pools and gathered from tarred fish, both of which are left behind by the big submarine that's circling the area. For the Mainsail you need to complete Beach Ball Bash in the southeast on the High Elf/Blood Elf ships, just click the ball and stand under it to bounce it, but make sure it doesn't fall off the ship or it'll be trickier to catch. For the Waxy Reeds you need to complete Garbage Fishing in the north at the Kalu'ak boat, just fish in the garbage pools nearby. For the Ship Mast you need to complete The Goblins Stole Our Bombs! by killing the NPCs on the boats in the northwest (for Alliance) or southwest (for Horde). Sometimes these quests don't show on your map, but just go near their location and they should pop up.

The boat itself gives you +330% movement speed on water, it's extremely fast.

Obtainable only via Thousand Boat Bash micro-holiday event (at least for now). Grants a 10 min. buff that spawns a race-specific boat on your character. This is the same boat model that you get from the Boat Day buff (automatically obtained by being in "The Shimmering Deep" area in Thousand Needles during the Thousand Boat Bash micro-holiday). The difference is that Small Boat can be used in any body of water in the game.

You can also fish while on this boat without loosing the buff, as well as eating/drinking or any activity as when on land (including jumping; you jump on the boat, the boat doesn't jump). Works like just like Anglers Fishing Raft. The boat has an increased speed in all directions except backwards, which comes in handy when you need to get on a floating object or other precision-related task.

Faster than a flying mount and can be used anywhere where there is water, which makes it the fastest option for travel in zones where you can't fly. Personally I have found it useful on the Timeless Isle while farming Spineclaw Crabs, and also while doing blood elf/draenei starter zones quests for xmog.

It should be mentioned, that using toys may cause some weird things. For example Red Wooden Sled will make your boat disappear and you fall to the bottom of the ocean.
But at least with unlimited breath....

Don't know if it is a bug, connection issue, ping or something else. But I just so happen to have a macro that spams space, which somehow makes it so that you can sometimes use the boat on land, as long as you're pressing that macro that spams space and you're not touching the ground too much (like going up a hill).

This damn boat is absurd. It WILL win you the fishing event that for that week if you abuse it. Personally this should not allow you to fish from it, because it is INCREDIBLY unfair.

Honestly the best damn thing I've used in WoW. I'm sad it's gone now but it allowed me to grind so much rep and finish some many world quests throughout Nazmir and Stormsong Valley so much fast. I'm gonna miss this amazing item.

Create a Small Boat - 100 Points
Requires creating a Small Boat during Thousand Boat Bash micro-holiday.
Sail Around the Dragon Isles - 150 Points
Requires using a Small Boat in the The Waking Shores, Ohn'ahran Plains, Thaldraszus, and Thaldraszus.
