40 Haste rating isn't exactly something to go mad for.

I personally would go for something that would add ranged AP or Critical rating over this, unless of course you are building up ALOT of haste rating. Maybe good for pvp though.

Just give this one a bit of a wide berth before going mad about it.

The last time i saw this item on AH, it said that it cannot be removed from the gun/bow.

This item is very good for those hunters that like to stack haste, its a choice they have.

It is also good for a tank to use on his weapon of choice reducing the time speed for a shoot, since heroic throw have a 1 min CD, to do faster pulls in between is a bit of advantage.

I was able to attach the Heartseaker scope to a lvl57 crossbow using my lvl70 toon, and it didn't become soulbound so I was able to trade it to my 59 twink hunter. I haven't tried the Sun Scope yet on a <70 ranged wep though, but based on these results I think it might work. The Diamond-cut Refractor Scope (+15 dmg) wont attach to a <70 item for sure, already tried. I'll post whether or not the sun scope works on a <70 item after I try it, but if anyone else tries before me feel free to let us know.

Very nice for MM and Survival Hunters, considering both Spec's require 522,7 Haste rating to get Steady shot down to 1.5 second casts. It will go towards stacking that haste nicely.

BM hunters will probably want go with the Heartseeker Scope.

I'd just like to say you can not put this on the starter equipment with no level requirement. It clearly has some sort of level requirement for the weapon you are enhancing.

haste doesnt affect steady shot cast anymore or maybe it requires more haste.
ive got around 300 haste and my steady shot cast is still the same.

Does anyone know if this would affect your first autoshot? As a Warrior, sometimes we get CC'd or whatever and with HS on CD it's smart to throw out a single auto shot from the bow, will this speed that up?

Does not work until level 70 for your heirloom gear even though you can put it on your heirloom gear. It will say enchantment requires level 70.
