You get these from defeting Champions. They will be sent to your mailbox, dont you worry :)

By the way, if you happen to get in-game mails from Master Enchanter Theopolus with these marks, it's because you were unable to be awarded the marks if you defeated a Argent Champion, like if you're inventory bags were full. At first, I wasn't aware why I had gotten 4 more in the mail, when I already had 4 earlier and turned in the quest. It was because the first 4 champions I defeated couldn't give me the marks because my bags where full. So I cleared a spot and defeated 4 more.

I'm fairly certain it's possible to gain eight of these a day after you turn in four from doing the daily. It isn't marked as a quest item.

For anyone who's wondering, it's *not* possible to kill two birds with one stone by getting these and Marks of the Valiant (for The Grand Melee) by defeating the same opponent in the Ring of Champions. The only opponents who grant Marks of the Valiant have to be defeated in your faction-specific grounds, and the only ones who grant Marks of the Champion have to be defeated in the Ring of Champions.

Please note that even though Questhelper says that you can purchase these trinkets from the trinket vendor in Stormwind, you actually can not.

My tactic on getting easy kills thus fast marks.
First i make sure i have my shield fully stacked.
Then i challenge an npc, i wait at a far enough distance so i can instantly charge upon entering combat.
Once charged, i hit my opponent once with melee while i continue moving forward, and just when i'm past my opponent i jump and turn 180 degrees and use my shield breaker. (if you don't jump you will take a long curve giving your opponent enough time to use his shield breaker)
Now i'm moving back at my opponent with greater than normal speed, if all went well your opponent shouldn't have enough time to use his shield breaker, so i'm still at three shields while my opponent is down to two or one shield.
Once i'm in melee range i hit him continuously with melee and take small steps backwards everytime i hit my opponent, this will make my opponent run away (after 2-3 steps back) so i can repeat the process from the start.

I don't think there is any other way to reduce the shields on champions all the way down to having no shield at all.

Here is what I do to finish my jousting dailys for another day.

1.Go to the water vendor and buy Honey Mead's (50 Copper each) to fill up your bags(Normally I buy 20 at a time and shift click them to unstack into singles to fill my bag slots)

2. Go do the daily(s) (Champion / Valiant Seals, both work)
*Note: if you are doing it right you will get a error message saying your inventory is full but don't worry they will be mailed to you*

3. Go sell / delete your Honey Mead's to make 2 open bag slots and go do your jousting again and hand in the quest(s).
*Note: you may have to go clear your bested debuffs so you can go do them again depending on how long it yook you to do the daily(s), what I do is take off all my gear and fly up and unmount to crater and die so I can loose my debuffs, other classes may have other ways to get rid of them such as mages Ice Block*

4. Go to your mailbox and get your seals for tomorrow! (Since they are unique(3/4) you can only hold 3 valiant and 4 champions in your backpack at a time, but when they are mailed to you they last 24 hours in the mail)

These used to be mailed to you if your inventory was full but it looks like since the patch they are no longer being mailed, be careful

Not only are these not mailed to you if your mailbox is full, it is definitely NOT possible to gain more than 4 a day, because after you have turned the quest in, the champions will not fight you. Instead they simply say "Are you sure you are ready to fight me?"

They need to fix it now so that people outside can't attack the one's that your dueling. I don't know why but I don't like it when others who aren't mounted attack your target...it defeats the purpose of the joust.
