For me personally it would probably have to be back in vanilla when i was a orc warlock. i spent weeks getting myself exalted with the trolls just so i could have a raptor mount :) i was actually the first horde on my server to do that as far as i could tell :) ever since then i've been a mount collector :)

Salty title... I had everything prepared 30 min before the event. Then a guildie asked why I was in Northend, and I said to fish. He joined in with 2 others, cause I summoned them 5 minutes before the event started. They took off, so we wouldnt interfer with eachothers fishing. He caught the Shark very fast. Just as he started Heartstoning to Dalaran, I caught mine. Here is the trick. His computer was made from wood. He had everything on poor and it was still laggy. I had turned everything to low, which caused me to gain enough time to get to dalaran at the same time as he was there. I got very lucky, cause he was actually still slightly behind, but he clikced the fishing trainer, instead of the big quest guy. Boom achivement and title for me. I love fishing, so thats my title where ever I go now...
"Loner and a Rebel" it made me feel invincible
i have been working on several toons to get this, but finaly on my monk i earned both the main hand and off hand warglaives of azzinoth, after so long of trying for many years. Mind you i did BT back when it was end game content.. but finaly after years .. i have them both and i got the achievment
Bloodsail Admiral back when it was actually hard to do, i.e. vanilla wow.
I’ve been most excited to finish the Opening of Ahn'Qiraj quest chain. I soloed it on level 80. I still have the The Scepter of the Shifting Sands. That’s what the bank is for, right?
Getting "What a Long Strange Trip it's Been" was probably the most exciting for me. I worked hard for it, and I enjoyed doing it, even though it was sometimes quite tedious, and the whole time I was looking forward to that magnificent purple proto- drake waiting for me.. It took me quite some time and even though I don't use the mount that much any more, it's still one of my favourites in my "stable".
The heroic version of Pauldrons of the Great Ettin, first time raiding on my new server with my new guild, have never done any current heroic content and I still had blues, but they took me for my low-cd interrupt, and I won those, was so happy!
My fave was finally getting the Sandstone Drake, took lots of farming and lots of time! other than that, the Master of all was my next fave! Maxing all proff's like a pro! :D thanks wowhead!
When I got my Ashes of Al'ar. Probably the most loved mount in the game. When I got it I played on a medium populated server and had farmed it with my friend for a few weeks. We ran priest/rogue and it was quite annoying sometimes but we usually killed it.On my 14th kill, maybe the 4th while 2-manning it dropped. I had no expectations since a famous guild leader on our server have been boosted in TK since WotLK and haven't seen it. At the time I had seen 2 people on our entire realm who had the mount. When it dropped my friend kindly greeded on it. Last few weeks of 4.3 was fun because you got recognized in Stormwind alot. It was some super geared shaman with it, some priest and me. Anyway getting this was probably the best WoW moment for me, just because I had no expectations what so ever...
I've been the most excited to get my Violet Proto-Drake in game. It took me 3 years to get it, so I was very happy. Also, it was my first Proto-Drake, so it just added to the excitement!
Finally fishing up the Giant Sewer Rat.
For me it was back in Vanilla when i went with my Warrior for Rank 14 () and it was a One year Epic Battle against other PvP teams from my server plus constant Internet Service Provider failing for several hours in a row per day making me drop down on the team "queue" to be the next one leading the Honor totals sometimes actually ranking down because of that..Anyway after all that i got it, just to find out that after i was done no one else did PvP teams for the ranks since that week, every team disbanded and if i waited for that to happen it would take just a month or so to do what i did in a year since my bro went from private to commander in one week being the only one grinding big honor numbers at the time on that server. The good thing was after i got that sweet gear i went raiding as a Offtank in full Fury Dps gear and doing top damage at the same time making those raids really epic Vanilla times ^ ^
