ITS A HUNTER WEAPONI USE EXPERTISE ALL THE TIME WHEN I FIGHT IN MELEE/facepalm
You want a Legendary for Enh Shamans! I have had a dream! It was there! It was a big ass totem poll that counted as a 2 handed mace, but because it was legendary you could Lava Lash with it! BLIZ! Make this happen!
I would love it to be changeable. I mean make it a blade. but you get to choose the form. kinda like an advanced version of the battered hilt.I mean its a blade.Blade can be:PolearmAxe 1 and 2 handerSword 1 and 2 handerDaggerthis would open it up to EVERY class Every one.Hell make it a one of a kind where the player when they forge the blade they get to choose what the stats are based on. or even get to distribute the points as they see fit. SO if a mage chose a sword they can choose to put on crit and haste as well as stam and int
Already another legendary?
I hope that its a fast off-hand so that all rogue specs can use the dagger. If not then guess I'll get to pvp with it instead.
Without getting into the whole boo Rogues thing, to me, a legendary is meant to be an amazing item (even after the fact) that people will want to collect for as long as possible. This is why I went back and got Sulfuras (even though it's of no current use or 'value' - it is still a legendary). Not all classes will ever have a legendary that is current for them. Casters, for example, haven't had anything of 'value' since Atiesh - and that's assuming you were around that early to have even a chance of it.However, I suppose when you look at the progression of weapons, this may just be a 'next in line' solution:(Copied from before, cheers guys :)Atiesh = Druid, mage, warlock, priest.Thunderfury = Warriors, DKs, Pally, RogueSulfuras = See above - rogueTwin Blades of Azzinoth = Rogues, Warriors, DKs, PallyThori'dal = Hunters, Warriors, and RoguesVal'anyr = Healers, limited Caster valueShadowmourne = Pally, Warrior, DKTarecgosa = CastersSo, if you consider Tarecgosa is the 'next one' from Atiesh, well, I suppose, next in line is something to follow on from Thunderfury. In saying that, Melee classes certainly have had a lot of love in the past and I'm not sure, if I was one of them, that I would be complaining all that much atm >.<
I wonder if they have considerd doing something along the lines of Quel'Dalar where you do the quest line and at the end get to pick the version that has the best stats for your class. Then they could do a ledgendary that everyone wants can can use.Oh and I think that article was a lie btw. Just saying.
That's not the correct progression line. It's:Tier 1 and 2: Thunderfury (Warrior, Paladin*, Rogue, Hunter*, Warlock*, Mage*, Death Knight*), Sulfuras (Warrior, Paladin, Shaman, Death Knight*, Druid*)Tier 3: Atiesh (Druid, Mage, Priest, Warlock)Tier 4 and 5: None (The Kael stuff does not count)Tier 6: Twins Blades of Azzinoth (Rogue, Warrior, Death Knight*)Tier 6.5: Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury (Hunter, Rogue*, Warrior*)Tier 7: None.Tier 8: Val'anyr, Hammer of the Ancient Kings (Druid, Priest, Paladin, Shaman)Tier 9: NoneTier 10: Shadowmourne (Death Knight, Paladin, Warrior)Tier 11: NothingTier 12: Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest (Druid, Mage, Priest, Warlock, Shaman << Yes shamans can legit use this)Tier 13: ? (Rogue?)* These classes weren't really meant to use this weapon, but were proficient and able to use it or were not able to get it during the time that tier was competitive.Given this trend, Rogues are technically next in line for a legendary, but do keep in mind, some legendaries have become unobtainable (Atiesh) or are now possibly considered inferior (Thori'dal), but some classes/specs have gotten few to no legendaries (Feral Druids, for instance, have yet to see their so-called legendary staff).Just sayin' =)
Should have been an axe.. then shamans and hunter's could have benefited.
When was the last tanking legendary?
