That Vanion interview nearly killed all my hype for BfA. Warfronts lasting 45 min? Noone got time for that. Missions getting over? Waiting weeks to finish the storyline cause waiting for 3 day mission to finish. Old legendary system? Yeah great, now i need to farm 4 weeks for 100 antient book items to get 1/10 upgrade for my legendary item whih i will have after 3 months of all day/week farming. And 77 rule is obv a lie... one time means nothing, second time is a coincidence and third time means there is a system.(Sry for my english but i had to write it down for killing big part of the hype i had after the announcment)
Slyvanis vs Jaina? Wait a minute. This is the Feminist Expansion?WTF? You did NOT just do this. Seriously? You did. /cry
I still don't understand what Ion was trying to say about allied races and these heritage armor sets during the what's next panel. He started the section on them by saying things like race changes and making a new character shouldn't be the only options for doing an allied race, then he talks about heritage armor obliquely and seemed to originally imply it could either be worn on all characters on an account or make you look like the given race (thereby making his earlier comment make some kind of sense). Then all this comes out. Idk. I've rewatched that part three times and what he said either doesn't make sense or he was overhyping and underexplaining this feature.
@Vynillin If you want to play as an allied race, you could always use a boost or race-change one of your existing characters. But if you instead choose to level that new race character traditionally, you get a transmog set. As it turned out later, you can only use it for that new race, but for all classes, regardless of their armor class. To be honest though, I haven't watched the full panel, just read the reports from it.
blizzcon was great this year
@Vynillin I agree When i heard Ion say that i thought it was very clear that you could use the transmog on all charachters. And now it makes me feel that he didnt know how that feature was intended to work.
