7/10. Clean and simple. Looks like a Dwarven Zuldazar.Too many soft bubbly edges in modern WoW. Gotta sharpen it out by 50%
I like it! It's spacious, navigable, easy on the eyes. I like the wide terraces and walkways, but it still feels pretty cozy and tucked by hills and walls. Seems a pleasant place to hang around for the expansion.Dwarves always have great architecture so it's nice to see it as an expansion capital at least one time.
Not as magnificent as Valdrakken but as long as accessibility is convenient.
The texture work looks beautiful, high detailed. Always glad to see the steady progression in graphical quality even in an ancient game. I am however also hoping for some tech upgrades under the hood, perhaps implementation of frame generation DLSS 3. This is because WoW generally runs well, but the engine and player management systems are EXTREMELY CPU heavy and even a high end CPU struggles in the city centers and large raids, etc. dropping from the silky smooth 100+ FPS to 40-60 FPS. It's a pretty much what frame generation was made for, beating CPU limits with GPU power by doubling frame output. It's not that major of a thing, but it would be cool to see WoW's busiest areas running at high visual fluidity.
I love how chunky everything looks. They went all in on that Dwarven style and I'm here for it. Also having most of the important bits in one central location is great. Valdrakken was a cool hub and a definite improvement over the Death Dild0, but *!@# was all over place.
This looks pretty good. A Dwarven city is quite a bit more appealing than a new dwarven race. (Kinda wonder why they couldn't use dark iron dwarves and then have a new race be something else, but I don't know anything about lore and will likely only ever play my human main so whatevers.)I wish they would get rid of the crafting table areas (never saw other crafters there anyway) cause it is just a pain flying back and forth from the AH but I highly doubt they would be so kind.
I'm already lagging just looking at the screenshots
Not gonna lie: I am loving everything that has been shown so far of The War Within, but by looking at this I think I'll miss the splendid and rich aesthetics of Valdrakken. Obviously change for each expansion is due, and this is aesthetically consistent with the Earthen, as it should be. But I just find these spaces less visually interesting to look at than the Valdrakken ones... I guess Midnight will bring us back to a more visually rich and refined city landscape!
A little boring again, same as the main island. Why not create mountains like we have in Zandalar and KulTiras? Large mountains with sharp edges. Realistic and awesome looking. This looks so plain basic minecraft likefor my taste. I guess this is the result when the leadenvironment designer leaves (DF was his last work)...
the name is terrible
do all the female.. err body type 2 dwarves have beards in tww?
