anyone know where that gorgrond follower muthala greyhoof is?
With the Nagrand tank, if you pull a few mobs with Hurl Boulder and use Flame Vent, pretty much everything dies in 3 seconds (which should be way faster than killing them normally). It's just like the other previous AoE spells outposts give, only with a few more extra spells. In the long run, especially if you're a gatherer, wolf is probably better though.
Does your choice of an outpost also determine which Garrison blueprint you get? I.e., if you choose the Arcane Sanctum in Talador, you only get the Mage Tower blueprints? That's how I understood things from the various posts so far.And that at maximum level there was some way to get the other blueprints, so you could just build whatever and 'redesign' then.Did I understand that correctly?
From all of the 16 outpost being horde and alliance you have 8 to choose ( 8 for each faction) then each zone mentioned above you have two options for example in Spires of Arak you have option to choose between the Smuggling Run and the Brewery, being the same for all the zones but with different options of outposts. Once you reach level 100 you can go back to your outpost and pay 10,000 gold to change the outpost style. For example, if you chose the Brewery for extra quests awarding you with extra gold and exp while lvling and finish the bonus questline you then would like to get the perks from the Smuggling Run too so you go talk to the outpost "commander" pay him 10,000 gold and choose the Smuggling Run outpost.
i would like to ride that azure talbuk as horde...is it possible?
Great post, and very usefull, thank you. I'm really excited about the garrison.
IDK about the combat mount but the tank was OWNING in Nagrand when I was leveling. It lasted well past the 10 min CD so once it did die I just summon it again.
Thank you for such a detailed post!I can't wait for all these interesting new leveling features. I have an army of alts to get to 100 but I think the changes will make it less boring the nth time around.Although my completionist OCD is freaking out at the thought of having to choose between options ;-)
If you replace your Gorgrond outpost at level 100, will that also unlock the other quest chain? In other words, can I pick Lumber Mill while leveling and do all of the Primals quests, then come back at level 100, switch the buildings, and then be able to do the Breakers and get the other follower?
Can't wait!
This is very useful, though I think there is one thing missing. You do list which followers you get for choosing one outpost over the other, but not how those followers differ. Depending on how you're set up in regards to followers, that may make a difference in deciding which outpost to choose if you're on the fence about it.
Ok, so this is going to seem a little silly. Do each of your toons get a garrison? or is it one garrison for each account? I've seen/heard conflicting accounts so I'd like to be a little prepared for the xpac. Also...on your garrison calculator, you show one big garrison but not outposts....does this mean you have a central location for your entire garrison? or are each of the parts you choose put into a different outpost location?Sorry if i seem a little unknowledgable, I'm just curious about what's going on.
DartVader--Follower data is a WIP, you can click on the links to see what abilities each have but we need to hook up a few more dbc files to show more abilities (most likely next week).I have to agree that the Tank in Nagrand was owning for me, especially in bad leveling gear. I could use it to take down an elite in bad quest gear and not have to worry about dying. With better gear though I can see the Corral being more useful.
Very cool! cant wait to try these out.
Are the corral mounts permanent and usable in all zones or just nagrand?
