Ditch heirlooms and just give us a set of levelling gear that increases power with us automatically all the way to the new expansion. No gear actually matters until max level now anyway so having to constantly check ilvl of new pieces is so annoying. Personally, I’m glad levelling is fast - all I enjoy is end game content so get me there as fast as possible.
Ooh, that's a good change. Hopefully, it won't feel like a slog like it has been so far.
This is getting ridiculous. WoW is not about one expansion. It's about the journey through the expansions as we have one long, epic adventure.Lowering experience needed per level just means mote players will skip the entirety of WoW just to rush to the the nex xpac.Catering to altaholics is making everything meaningless.
So Panda Remix is pointless for leveling up new toons if they're just going to nerf the XP rates and make it easier in TWW.
Why? It's not like it takes long as it is to level up....People are lazy.
might level some alts for once in 3 xpacs :/
Would love to see a 'hard mode' for leveling where it takes long and mobs hit hard and gear and talents matters (would unlock the new talent trees true potential)dont want to play a 20 year old game to get some sense of true rpg-like progress
Don’t think anyone has posted the aggregate numbers yet (sorry if someone has and this is duplication) but the total xp to the then max (60) in shadowlands was c. 474k and that then dropped to c. 208k with the nerf at DF launch. Total xp to max in DF was then c. 498k. So about the same rough total xp to max as it had been in SL. With the announcement above the new total XP required to current max (now 80) will go down to c. 229k. So overall a nerf broadly similar to the SL—>DF nerf. So, broadly speaking, it will take about as long to get to 70 post nerf as it currently does to get to 60.
I can’t edit that last post but it should have read now 70 not now 80 of course…
