I'm gonna go against the stream (quite literally) and say Vashj'ir! Even though it is a hell of a zone to navigate, the epic scenery and unique experience really pulls their weight.
Sholazar Basin, good farming. great quest chains
Mulgore. Because of the long green sight to the horizon. Liked it better before the Cataclysm. It was greener.Still I miss Taurens not having the Graze racial to add to the ambience.
Mm...This is a tough question, but if asked, I'd have to say my favorite area would be Stranglethorn Vale. Between the ruins, the ferocious wildlife, and Booty Bay, the area just seemed like it was teeming with adventure.
Duskwood. The storyline there is so cool and the Stiches event was the coolest thing especially before the newer more interactive quests of WOLTK and cata.
My favourite zone is Zangarmarsh. It has a really unique style, that you dont see anywhere else. Also, the flora and fauna of the zone is very interesting, and well rounded.
I really liked questing in Hyjal, having to push back the enemy forces felt quite epic.
My favorite zone before the shattering was Hillsbrad Foothills. the pvp battles where were epic. the battle for South Shore and Tarren Mill where epic, always a good time. after shattering I really like Tol Barad. But then again I am a tauren tank paladin griefing is my life....
Grizzly Hills. Stunning scenery, immersive captivating music. Several engaging quest chains (without the quest order feeling too scripted, like in Cata). Oh, and furbolgs. Only complaint is not enough furbolgs. A grizzlymaw dungeon or single encounter raid would have been awesome.
My favorite zone is definitely Western Plaguelands, back in the day there were few quest lines so moving as the story of Tirion Fordring and the battle for his son's soul. The removal of that quest line was a shame. Even now the zone is just a shadow of its former glory, with the Argent Crusade everywhere and the memories of a father's loss faded.
