I would actually like to go back to Azeroth to fight local void corruption. If they updated the leveling content that would be great cause they would bring life back to almost everything!
Personally I'm hoping for a lot of factions to show up for the power grab in Silithus.Any and all villains, and some good guys, will want the power that blood could contain and while most good guys will likely do their best to defend it, could be a new combined effort of Legionfall, I'm certain that we can't prevent people from at least getting a few vials of the stuff. With how the blood appears to have seeped into the sands all over, we can't look out for every square inch of Silithus, so some baddies will make their way off with a bit of power and potentially rise to become bigger threats than what they were in the past.So hoping for lots of new and old villains to come out of this as we enter a new age of Warcraft! ^_^
We need races campaigns, and expande the lore. We need a troll leader
Clearly, everything going to go to hell void in a hand basket. The old gods/void lords will take note of the sudden lack of Legion, and bust through Azeroth's walls like the Kool-Aid man. Bonus shenanigans: Azeroth is void touched and becomes Azeroth, destroyer of, well, us. So we stab her in the shins and hope for the best. You know, as we do.
I am so excited to see where the story goes after this! I honestly think that it will go along the line of Old Gods and some type of Horde and Alliance conflict on Azeroth. It'll be nice to be back at the homebase and see what we can achieve with the newfound knowledge of the void and how we may counteract what threatens the world.
A lot of what I was going to say has been brought up in the original post already. But I'll do my best to connect the dots.
I’m excited for the potential void expansion but I also wouldn’t mind another in between like Mists was. Either way, Blizzcon can’t come fast enough.
But if I catch Jaina anywhere near Anduin, she will be imprisoned in the Stormwind Stockade!
Void-themed expansion, no new classes or races but overhauled character customization with new skin tones, features, etc. Jaina is going to be a villain, I've been saying it since she stormed off at the start of Legion.
I have been dying to see Azshara and Kul'Tiras entering as an expansion, so I really hope for some watery-themed stuff! With murlocs! Have Murky be a key NPC player as well. :DAnd I hope Jaina will come around her senses, seeing her turn into a b** hasn't been nice.
As much new content that was put into the game with Legion, it scares me to think that they may not be putting enough time into the next expansion. It seemed obvious after Legion had come out that they had basically diverted all of their manpower from WoD to making the next expansion. Hopefully, though they will have at least learned from their mistakes and put a bit more care into whatever comes next. And as for what may come next... I feel it is going to definitely going to be using Jaina as a main character. I mean, Dadgar has been around for two entire expansions now and is kinda getting old (in my eyes), so surely they would want to rotate in a different character to focus on. Not saying they have to get rid of Dadgar altogether, but at least remove him from the foreground (maybe develop the whole love interest with Modera). Also, with all this void lore that's been developed, it would be pretty stupid of Blizzard to pull a WoD and go off on another tangent. So, in summary, I think the next expansion has to be Old Gods-centric.Looking forward to some new races!
I'm really hyped about Kirin Tor because it would add so much valuable story to the game IMO. I mainly play WOW just because of the epic story! Hoping to see some kind of battleships that you could actually ride/mount and not like in Draenor that you just send them on to missions. Heck i'm even hoping for space traveling! xD Talking about features, i would like to see the whole world with level scaled zones so you would always have a little bit of a challenge and fun with low level friends.
Would be interesting to see a full Old God expansion. Maybe ressurrecting Y'Shaarj somehow, and Yogg and C'thun making their comebacks, alongside with N'zoth finally showing up, and we having to deal with the four of them all at once.
I believe we will be getting an old gods expansion next. Maybe finish up with Queen Azshara and the naga at the start. Followed by some void related content. And then finish it off with N'zoth.
Another Horde bashing from Nobbel. Yeah Nobbel, I understand you want see Sylvanas go and again look only "because of huge fanbase" road. Sad to see someone from "lore lover" like you to directly go: "Yeah she will be evil for another Lich King but Bolvar is a guy who trying to break his chain from Yogg'saron." I mean hold on for a second and think there please.Yes, was Vol'jin died without doing nothing in Warchief position and this looked like everything was fanservice about Sylvanas. But there is something you forget. Blizzard are entering new era with new High King and Warchief. Like things happened Garrosh and Varian. But this time they chose Sylvanas and Anduin. It was mirroring things for future "easy" or more much potentail for future development for both side. You may say "but how are they mirror each other?". Like you mention in this article that Anduin is struggling. He is young and even his mentor Velen and Greymane finds him "soft" or not capable enough to rule Alliance etc. Some goes for Sylvanas but little different. While she is capable "commander" in Horde no one trust her -even old Warchief. She is a dark figure to be Warchief and this is where Blizzard are going to developt this character.Yeah, it won't guarantee that Sylvanas won't be "another Horde villian" but this route open more development. As we see that in War Crimes she was finally found a family feelings with Vereesa and with her betrayel she lost herself again. Maybe Horde will fill this "family" spot for Sylvanas and she is going to get good development unlike last two Warchiefs got.My post maybe little bit salty but It is really hurt me to see someone like you, a lore fan to simply going for "Sylvanas going to be next raid boss" or "they cannot touch her because lul fans" way and brush it off all topic.
I am certain that:N'Zoth's forces will rise; We'll visit Ny'alotha; We'll visit Kul Tiras and whichever islands are next to it now;The Horde and the Alliance will fight for the blood of Azeroth (each their own reasons); The Void denizens will have a stronger presence in Azeroth;Magni will (without knowing) leading us to a trap; The expansion will probably be more about purifying Azeroth than anything else. And that's my view on it.
I'm so hyped about Kul Tiras, the only one of the seven kingdoms not making it in the game so far, and if there will be no evil Jaina, maybe a questline where we help her get Kul Tiras. As Nobbel said, se is not a seafarer, and has no claim to be leader other than her name, so we help her out iso her people would recognise the leader in her. Also looking forward for more Anduin, and what they will do with the whisper about him.And Trolls! Bring me more Trolls!
Nzoth is sleeping in ToS. But u need go down deeper than the fallen avatar boss battle room. This speculation is coming from the Shadow Priest Artifact whispers. Also maybe the prison will be damaged by Sargeras so a part of him can appear. Also Emerald Nightmare wasnt over. The corruption is still there. But in Silithus we will see the sword Im sure wat sargeras used to wound Azeroth. It can cause an AQ remaster. I know Blizzard always trying to remake old villains and old raids for us.I forgot that the true Weapon wat Sargeras had was shattered into 2 pieces after he released the demons in Mardum and absorbed the fel enery from it. After that Sargeras Weapon broken because could not allow the evil powers. 2 piecr one Sargeras wield and one Aggramar. Only a good one can forge it back abd use it. You cannot be evil. This is the strongest weapon in the Universe. I hope Blizzard will do something about it.
I don't think we'll be going directly to the Void in the next expansion, though I have no doubt we'll be seeing a much stronger presence/influence of it on Azeroth. My guess is things will start centered around the Wound and conflicts on what to do about it (especially between the Alliance and the Horde), considering it's a major source of power. Then some larger enemy will arrive, probably Azshara and her naga, threatening the coastlines and major island nations (enter Kul'Tiras). N'Zoth will end up being the major end-boss once we've dispatched his lieutenants.
