Hmm. Again only word and represented of Horde is Liadrin. Also If we look at the other dialogues probably Horde going to be antagonist again next scenario or expansion, whatever you call. I am just done man. Freaking done. All Legion expansion Horde didn't nothing and they add possible antagonist dialogues for Horde. Yeah why would Horde do something about Legion anyway? Why would we attack Legion anyway? We are just bad guys and we have no bussiness to do with anyone unless there are lack of villians. Then again we can raid our citadels, our heroes! Yeah, but you know what "story symmetry". With this symmetry Horde got less development than Darkmoon got in 4 years. This is amazing, amazing!Good Job Blizzard. Really Good Job.
^ spotted the guy who probably claims "For the Horde!" in public places and think his side is the only good side, and alliance players are "weak" both in game and in life.Newsflash: it's a game, don't let your life and personality revolve around it.
Khadgar's conversation with his lost friends don't match the ending of the ToD novel and the Honor Hold priest's conversation with Arator :-(
He did kill the pantheon but one of them cast a spell to send their spirits down to azeroth, so he only killed their physical bodies..Also, he needs Argus to rebuild the pantheon (into a dark pantheon) and that's why he lets Argus live..
Some of those dialogue lines are already in the opening quests we have available on the PTR. Regardless, many of those both answer questions I already had and generate more to be answered in the future hopefully.
There's a solid open question about how Sargeras got his hands on the souls of the Pantheon if Aman'thul sent them to Azeroth. And there's also an open question about whether Argus actually had a world-soul or if Sargeras was able to artificially fashion one. I'm hopeful that we'll see an answer on that via questing. Argus having a world-soul isn't really that surprising; if the presence of a world-soul depletes the presence of Spirit as an elemental force (as it did on Azeroth) then it would compute that the eredar wouldn't have discovered shamanism until they left Argus. TL;DR: it's a bit premature to say that Team 2 isn't writing lore that's consistent with Chronicle when we don't have all the facts on the table. And a lot of what's here is still subject to change, because PTR is PTR.
Really wish you guys would chill out on the f'ing spoilers. Yet again, I can't hit up a single story forum, likely for MONTHS now because of disphits being too stupid to avoid spoilers in their titles.*facepalm* So, no more dicussions on anything, again, for literally months, because "gotta release it all".
well it's pretty simple, argus was obviously not corrupted and it was the Legion's stronghold, he wanted to destroy the world souls but what if he converted one to his own will, it would just make killing others easier, it's not a plothole at all
Also, about the Alliance taunt... on MMO-Champion front page the speaker is Varimathras, and there is a Horde taunt variation too. He's obviously talking about Sylvanus' scheme, pre-wrath gate at least, since that's the last time he was with her. Maybe he did not know she has a change of heart after Lich King's fall and her deaths and involvement with the Val'kyr. Jaina is not patient and has nothing to do with shattered mask (forsaken symbol) anyhow.
So after years and years of waiting, we never even get to fight Sargeras? It all goes down to Illidan? And despite thousands and thousands of years of war experience, we're going to destroy the Legion in our first counter-attack? Come on guys, the deaths of Archimonde and Kil'jaeden were disappointing enough...
It matters not. We have lost. Look to the skies!Sargeras will soon undo all we have fought for.Illidan serves as the Dark Titan's jailer. His sacrifice has ended the Legion. At long last, the Burning Crusade...is over.Oh, s**t. Illidan... atleast please have Tyrande and Malfurion react or something, there still hasn't been a reunion :(
