My favorite memory from WoW universe is definetely a time when I was leveling my first character (and my main too). I started playing with my close friend (gnome rogue) she was a 40 when I bought my first account and started my adventure. I still remember all that silly questions I asked her, those mistakes I did, and that euforia when my first GREEN item dropped. Leveling that first character was so much fun!
My favorite memory in World of Warcraft, was sitting in the Wayfarer's Inn and RPing on my Paladin, and choosing to greet a fellow Blood Elf who would one day end up becoming my fiancee IRL. I've never been happier in my life and it has all been made possible by this game.
The one moment that stands out the most is the first time I did OS10. I was pretty much still a noob at the time, and walking into that instance was just phenominal. The atmosphere, the music, the voice-acting. It all just came together and formed the perfect entry-raid for a noob doing his first raid.
Speed pulling Molten Core in Vanilla. Finishing the quest chain for the hunter bow in Vanilla. Downing Lich King for the first time. Just to name a few.
Meeting my girlfriend back when ToC was the content guilds were pushing. We talked through triviabot, yelling out random answers and then I took her on a tour of the hidden places, like on top of Caverns of Time (which was hard to get to without a flying mount pre-Cata), ended up talking outside of WoW and we've been dating since. :D
My favorite memory would be flying over Searing Gorge on a flight path and thinking "hey, one day, I'll be able to quest there", like it was some huge goal to go and kill those spiders. That was a few years ago, and I just leveled that character up to 85.To answer the other question, I am most looking forward to the Flameward Hippogryph. I've wanted a blazing hippogryh since I first say one, but I've never been able to afford one. So yes, I am going to get one, finally!
I'm more a solo player, so I play a lot of quests and try to get a lot of achievements. I think that my favourite memory is when I got Universal Explorer. Why ? Because back then I was level 70 and I journeyed through Northrend with the 10-days trial of WotLK. I was really proud to get this achievement without any flying mount. I died a lot in The Storm Peaks and Ice Crown, but it was worth it !
My most wonderful memory of WoW was when I first got it way back when it first came out. I wanted a game I could play with my husband. And I decided to level a druid and he leveled a warrior. We leveled them together all the way to 60, the hard way! It was just crazy to know that we did that together when it was the most difficult to do. It was a great moment when we figured out that we could do that together when we had so much else going on in our lives with him being in Iraq.

My favorite memory of WoW is being in Wild Roses and all the fun raids we had, killing Ragnaros for the first time and clearing BWL. The panic of healing the tanks .. oh my, that was hilarious!
The best moment for me, was when I realised that I had found the few people that I knew I was going to raid with them throught thick and thin, and so I have for the last 2 years. Now its always so relaxing to raid, even when we sometimes have entire nights of wiping on stupid @#$%; I always go to bed feeling that Ive mattered and contributed with something. So I love the game even more.
My favorite memory is meeting my fiance in wow...he used to come play with my little level 30 paladin on his level 65 warrior, even though he had much better things to do. Just running around with him and chatting was more fun than I'd usually have.
I think my favorite moment was the first time we downed Ragnaros in Molten Core. Our guild had moved servers (in the days before transfers), and I remember being really proud of the whole guild that we'd gone from level 1 to killing Ragnaros in less than 6 months. That was a pretty big accomplishment for Vanilla, and I was happy I was there to see it.
Most of my favorite memories involve the triumph over raid bosses after a long struggle to learn and execute a fight. One of the most poignant of which would have to be my guild's defeat of the Twin Emperors just before the (original) release of Naxxramas. Of course then we pulled the trash immediately following them and accidently got 2 packs. Short-lived as it was, that sensation was definitely one of my most memorable WoW moments. ><
My favorite memory:The very first time i hit an ally with in Northern Barrens with my lovely Undead Mage in wow-eu/beta. This was my ever first PvP experience but I felt like Venture Bay PvP Master for a moment -- that should be the reason I Battle Shout in an Internet cafe like a Crazy one - altough I couldn't manage to kill him and was instead dead a few seconds later!
