Does this also give your gearscore a 30% boost?

That's the thing though: it's not easy. And I doubt the average PUG raid is only 5% short of being able to down the Lich King, so you're all whining about nothing anyway.Play more, cry less.
well done blizzard!
So uh, you know the people who are actually already killing Arthas? And did before this buff? Yeah, they're the ones not posting in this thread. Because the people who actually are plowing through content the fastest and not just pretending to be for the sake of whining on the internet really don't care if pugs do what they do now three months from now, nor do they care if pugs have only a few of the pieces of gear months from now that they have now. Those are the people intelligent enough to realize it doesn't matter to them what pugs do right at the end of the expansion.
My opinion is that the buff should "spread" through ICC the same way the wings were opened. Let it first affect just bosses up to Saurfang, two weeks later up to Professor, and so on. Anyone in the progress of Frostwing/LK now (which is only available for a while) would be able to try more before the buff takes effect. Right now it would be pretty stupid to turn it off for progress, thats like not using BoK.and/orKingslayer only if the buff is off.
Let's look at raids for a sec. How many people do you know go into Serpentshrine Cavern, the Eye, or even Sunwell Plateau once WotLK came out?*cue crickets*Don't worry, I'll wait.Seriously, letting more casual type players go deeper into Icecrown Citadel now is a good thing, because once Cataclysm hits the shelves, who's gonna want to go there anymore?
