My favorite memory of World of Warcraft is discovering the benefits of a proper talent tree and using proper spells from that back when I was leveling my first character. By going from having a hard time even killing solo mobs of equal level to it being much easier really boosted the amount of fun that World of Warcraft was as a whole.

My favorite memory of WoW is when after our weekly 40 man MC raid in vanilla, my Horde guild decided to dececrate the Anvil in IF. Our entire guild stormed IF and our MT actually crafted some low lvl bracers on the anvil in the center of IF. Those bracers are still in the GB today on a protected tab.
My favorite moment in WoW would have to be the time that I've spent with some old friends finding every map glitch we could during BC. Getting under Org and Stormwind, finding the landing strip by IF. Just finding every little thing wall we could hump to see if we could go out of the games regular perimeters.
My favorite WoW moment was when I tamed King Krush on mu hunter. My 6-yr old son had developed a fascination with him and kept going to Sholazar to look for him. One morning, I got up early and went to Sholazar. After a couple of hours, Krush spawned. I tamed the green dino and then logged off. Later, after my son was awake, I asked him to log in. On the character selection screen, there stood my hunter and his green dino. My son went crazy with excitement. I then let him log in and name him (GreenKrush). To this day, I am the greatest hunter ever to my son.
My favorite moment was when I returned to WoW after a long break shortly before Wrath was released, some old guildies of mine helped me level and ran me through every dungeon several times until the gear I wanted dropped (including mounts and other rare drops in outland), they payed for my riding skill and mounts, and crafted anything else I could possibly need, and generally just kept me company as I re-explored the world of warcraft - overall they were amazing and they really reignited my passion for a game I loved. Today the guild no longer exists and only a few of us are still playing but we all remember the tight bond we used to have as a guild and as friends.And we all like to do daily good deeds and carry on the tradition. Like helping out new players, it's amazing how far a little kindness goes, 50g and some bags that costs peanuts for me (especially if you craft them yourself) can make life so much easier if you're new to the game. Or a little direction, a guided tour of the local capital, a lift on a two man mount, or simply answering questions and showing kindness.
My favourite moment in WOW was one of my first. A friend had been playing in closed beta, and once I got into the open beta I met her in game. She gave me some money, and told me that I needed to spend it on a gryphon flight. As a level 5 with no money that seemed a big waste of money to me, but I obediently hopped on the bird from Stormwind to Ironforge.My jaw actually dropped during the flight. Seeing all this fantastic, gorgeous scenery as I flew over it made me realise just how big the world was. I will never forget approaching the entrance to Ironforge, and seeing how huge the front gates were! And almost ducking as the gryphon took its route through the higher parts of IF. I landed and all I wanted to do was to take the flight again! Definitely the best money I have spent in game, and the moment I fell head over heels in love with World of Warcraft! :)
My favorite WoW moment was wiping on the original Lord Kazzak at 1%. Everybody on Teamspeak went wild laughing and yelling. We weren't upset, we thought it was awesome. I just so happened to recorded the wipe on fraps. I uploaded the video on Youtube and almost 500,000 people have also shared the epic moment with us. It proves that its not all about getting loot and progressing. Its about having fun with friends. It's a rare thing these days to have something like that happen, and I'm glad I was able to share the moment with so many people.Its very hard to pick just one as there are so many. I've been playing since release and I've had so many great WoW moments. But that one takes the cake.
There are many moments over the years but my first was after playing for several weeks my friends invited me to go into my first instance (Wailing Caverns). All the toons met at Crossroads and my friends started laughing at me. After literally an hour, they had me properly geared. The sad part, I thought I had great gear - all grey and white. Boy was I NOOB however, that is what got me hooked - that this game was much more than a cool video game.
My favourite memory of WoW was the day I finally achieved level 80 on my main toon. After playing her for approximately 2 and a half years, you wouldn't believe the delight in finally getting my first 80. I squeed. :)...And now to get her to level 85... 0.o;
I think my favorite memory was back in Vanilla when I hit 60 for the first time. I was ecstatic that I could finally get my mount! It was such a big deal back then, when you had to work really hard to get the money for it (especially alone, without a guild, and with a brand new character.) I was so much faster, all of a sudden, it felt like I could go anywhere now!
