in my opinion this is an interesting addition it fits the characters in the way they act mainly the dance her jokes and her flirts i have a friend who dose similar things and she's always dying different color streaks into her hair but it dose not fit a pandaren or a least feels that way at the time being. what i'm curious about is color streak optional ? right now my alts hair reminds me of Rogue from X-Men. either way beta is beta.*i hope people won't start *!@#ting themselves over the forums about how they look because blizz may pull another female worgen and we sure as hell do not want that the pandaren look great and do not need changed to that =<*
After reading the posts it looks like a lot of bashing against people IRL. My sister has purple hair and has always had different colored hair. Yet, she graduated top of her class in a major in addiction counseling and something else that is very respected. Implying that colored hair is for scenesters, pot heads, or whatever is just bogus. Stereotyping ingeneral is just bogus. In the end, just remember hair color is a choice, even in the World of Warcraft.
Hmm....I like this.
I think these are a really neat idea! The whole expansion is about having fun so I think the hair streaks are just another way of adding some fun spice to the world. I would be surprised if they weren't optional either, for the players who would rather not use them.
Streaks...well, they are different. I was hoping for just solid colors though (or please make an option for solid colors or streaks). I was hoping for my Mistweaver Monk to have all silvery/white hair...not black and white. Also, it'd be cool to offer the streaks in the barbershops to some of the other races...Trolls, NE, Humans, BE, Gnomes, Goblins, maybe Draenei and Worgen too. Not sure about Forsaken, Dwarves, Tauren, and Orcs...but I suppose if they left any races out, players of those races might feel slighted. As for the earrings, they aren't bad...but I'd like more than just green and gold. The other earrings available to some of the other races look better in my honest opinion (BE earrings have some very different colors and looks available, and humans can opt for a nose and eyebrow piercing). Lastly, I still hope for some of my other ideas I have posted on the forums might someday come into play: Scars, Tribal tats, and "glasses" that don't take up a head slot...just part of your character's face (I wouldn't mind a scholarly looking mage or priest...and if NPCs can have, 'em...why not us?). ^_^
From my point of view, the new hairstyles look pretty cool. However, I don't think they fit in with the Panda Culture. I think other races would better benefit from this look. At least the Neon. The Panda's strike me as a calm and very conservative race. Neon in my eyes doesn't fit that culture. Straight regular colors like red, blue, yellow, and orange (in a non-neon format) better suit the Panda culture. Neon would be great for Humans, Gnomes, Goblins, Trolls, Undead, Night Elf, and Blood Elf. Races that seek out crazy fun. It also occurs to me that more natural color tones are also well suited for the Orcs and Tauren. Tauren in the lore are also (for the most part-Grimtotem as the exception) really peaceful and not a race that seeks crazy ideas. Orcs find fun in battle, so I would also say that they would care more for natural colors. Draenei also seem like they would be more reserved, when they have hair at all. Dwarves are earthen, so I don't see neon with them at all. Worgen however would probably have some fun, if they weren't stuck with greys and blacks. On the topic of some of the other comments I've seen regarding some of our pop-culture that has reached WOW, I think these homages are a great idea. I missed Hammer-Time myself, but I rather enjoyed all of the Indiana Jones references that were added in Cata. I also remember He-Man in Shat (or rather Prince Adam). A bunch of others that I can't recall right now. I think this is one of Blizzard's best ideas. Now only if they would give us completely customizable filters for trade chat. LOL
I really hope there's an option to not have this on there. I'm not sure I'll be able to play Pandaren if it isn't. Normally I could get past something I didn't like on a Character texture but that's just too bright and I'd be able to see it.

I like the new colors! I have streaks of color in my hair (red, purple, orange & blue) and I like this as a way to customize our toons. I hate going into a raid or dungeon and the other druid(s) look almost exactly like me, right down to the transmog set I chose. It'll be fun to play with these features. I do hope that they're optional, but optional for every race, not just the pandas. =) Also, they really need to update the dances for all the races, and the Traveling Tundra Mammoth needs its merchants updated something awful.
Well, that's nice. At least there will *some* variance now...o.0
I almost hope this isnt pandaren only, and if they gave color streaks to all females, they could give warpaint to all males
just hoping that the other races get the hair color and earrings to and the new models dont blow lol but we will see but i rather have Japanese culture, yes they have alot in common but i like there art and there clothing better and would rather have samurais then pandas
I really wish they had this "plain" option was available for female Goblins in terms of piercing/earrings. It's either you have a big nose+chin with a bunch of earrings on the ears or a bunch of rings on the nose, which looks nasty imo. I'm still waiting for purple hair on non-DK Goblins because I keep seeing NPCs all over the place with the purple hair. Purple hair+Green skin=complimentary colors. But all these pages are full of qq comments so enough of that. I laughed a bit when I saw these new hair styles but they do look nice. And have any of you seen the emotes for the Pandaren female? They're very girlish and sassy. >_> I think it fits them well.
Excellent - it may not completely fit with Pandaren culture, but neither do Blood Elves and Humans with spiky anime hair or Orcs and Forsaken with Mohawks. It's mostly for fun.I was planning on making my panda my "trolling" character anyway, so bring it on haters.Things are coming along just swimmingly... *rubs hands*
