This is Alpha information and very likely to change before release of Legion!

Bodhi is one of a series of pet opponents who can be found in the Dalaran Tournament area (West of Dalaran on the outer rim of the city). Every day a different fight is available much like the garrison menagerie, however in a currently random pattern.

His three pets are:

1. Itchy
2. Salty Bird
3. Grommet

The fight is currently no big challenge as the enemy pets seem to not be balanced properly, yet.

At this time there does not seem to be any rewards or quests connected to this battle.

I didn't have many pets in the beta so I went with a Nightwatch Swooper (1,1,1), a River Calf (1,2,2) and a Fel Piglet (1,2,2)

Start with Darkness then Nocturnal Strike, then Quills and Nocturnal Strike until death

River Calf can defend well with Stoneskin against the korgi's immune round

Use the Headbutts and main attacks of the beasts to finish it.

PS. This is not an optimal strategy.

Bodhi Sunwayver is a Master Pet Tamer found at the Dalaran Pet Tournament behind the graveyard in Legion's Dalaran. He's only available to fight when his world quest, Fight Night: Bodhi Sunwayver, is up. His pets are Itchy, Salty Bird and Grommet.

Pets
To level a pet on this fight, I used my Bronze Whelpling (Arcane Slash/Early Advantage/Lift-off) and a Fel Pup (Diseased Bite/Crouch/Howl). Bring a leveling pet with at least 800 health to survive worst-case-scenario Cyclone damage.

Strategy
Start with the Bronze Whelpling. Use Early Advantage, then Arcane Slash, then Lift-off to escape the Whirlpool detonation. Spam Arcane Slash, and use Early Advantage on cooldown whenever your pet's health is lower than the current enemy pet health. Continuing in this manner should get you most of the way through Grommet. When your Bronze Whelp dies (pass a turn to let him die if neccessary, don't solo the fight with him if you're trying to level!) bring out your leveling pet. Switch out right away for your Pup, then either Howl-Diseased Bite or just Diseased Bite if you can finish him off with one.

i just beat this fight with a corefire imp(1,1,1) and Chrominius(1,1,2) using the imp for the crab, keep you'r imp on high hp and make sure to heal and aura before after you kill the crab, then howl+surge of power for the bird, and then imp again for the murlock, using the heal to counter hi's 800 dmg punch. maby this could be used to carry a third pet.

An Optimized version of the strategy posted by HazelNutty:

1. Hit once with a Carry pet that can withstand 5 ticks of the tornado, around level 10 without modifiers/family counted.

2. Swap to Bronze Whelping. Lift off to avoid the bomb and Arcane Slash mainly. Early advantage if applicable.

3. Fel Pup. Crouch then Howl and Diseased Bite on the last enemy pet.

I didn't have a Bronze Whelping so I replaced it with a Moth (any kind will do) and it worked really well.

Moth: Alpha Strike / Cocoon Strike / Moth Dust
Fel Pup: Diseased Bite / Crouch / Howl
Leveling pet

Started with Moth and just spammed Alpha Strike while keeping Moth Dust on cooldown. Use Cannon Strike on the turn before the Whirlpool is going to trigger.
When the Moth dies bring in your leveling pet and then switch to the Fel Pup to finish off Grommet.

Easily soloed with Emerald Proto-Whelp.

Edit: I just used the standard set up of always keeping up Emerald Presence (refresh at 1 turn remaining if the enemy is faster than you), use Emerald Dream on cooldown (once I've taken enough damage that its necessary) and Emerald Bite for damage.

Absolutely can solo this with Anubisanth Idol. I used crush, sandstorm and deflection but I don't even think the deflection was needed. Happy battling!

This is my first strategy post, so forgive me if I mess the links up... Here's an easy strategy for Murlocs, Harpies, and Wolvar, Oh My! Murlocs, Harpies, and Wolvar, Oh My!

Your team:
Harpy Youngling (1/1/2)
Sister of Temptation (1/1/2)
Anubisath Idol (1/2/1) *not needed, just for back-up, really*

Open with your harpy and choose the following moves:
> Flyby
> Quills
> Lift-Off
> Quills
> Flyby
> Quills
> Quills
> Lift-Off
> Flyby
> Quills
> Quills
*Harpy Youngling will be dead at this point, bring out Sister of Temptation*
> Curse of Doom *just in case*
> Haunting Song
> Shadow Shock
> Shadow Shock

And there you have it! Bodhi Sunwayver down with just humanoids!

For Flock Together I just used a very basic counter team and defeated him with ease. I used
amber moth 2,1,2
Nether ray fry 1,2,1
Glowing sporebat 2,1,2

First guy I spammed alpha strike. When he casts whirlpool just cocoon before it hits you. When Itchy dies I swapped to Nether ray fry and spammed arcane blast until Salty bird was dead. He pulled out grommet last so I just used shadow shock until my Nether ray fry died. I then swapped to Glowing sporebat and 2 shadow slashes finished Bodhi off.

Pretty simple fight. Happy questing!

Dragonkin team for Dragons!. It can be improved. I don't have a lot of lv25 pets so I did it with what I had.

Starter: Bronze Whelpling (1, 1, 1)
Middle: Nexus Whelpling (1, 2, 2)
Anchor: Any lv25 Dragonkin pet.

Spam Arcane Slash and Lift-off to avoid Whirlpool. You'll be healthy when his second pet comes in. Keep using Arcane Slash. Finish his second pet with Arcane Storm. After that, just use Mana Surge once and you're done.

You might be able to sub Emerald Proto-Whelp (2, 2, 1) for Bronze Whelpling, but I didn't test that strat.

Can be almost soloed with Son of Sethe 1, 2, 2. With a little better cooldown use than I did can probably be soloed with it. Just throw 2 random undead pets for Lil Necromancer.

Yu'la 1-1-3 can solo this with proper usage of Life Exchange.
Even if you can finish off an enemy pet with Dragonkin passive, don't if it means leaving you vulnerable without Emerald Presence.

There is a very small chance of RNG with the murloc hitting you twice with Punch, but it isn't likely.

For undead only I used Fragment of Anger (1,1,1) and Graves (1,2,1). I had another undead I didn't use.

Start with Fragment - Spiritfire Beam, then Soulrush.
Use Spiritfire Bolt as filler and Spiritfire Beam and Soulrush on cool down. Fragment should take care of the first 2 pets.

For last pet, Grommit, use Graves's Grave Destruction with Skull Toss as filler.

The Aqua team I used was
- Fishy 212
- Puddle Terror 112
- Dancing Water Skimmer 122 (just for fall back)

Started with Fishy with Rain, followed up with pump 4 times and than Surge and Itchy was dead.
Used Surge on second pet Salty Bird till my Fishy died.
Brought in Puddle Terror and used Dive on CD, followed up with Nature´s Ward and Waterjet.
Both pets (Salty Bird and Grommet) died quicky.
Did not needed my 3rd pet.

For Master of Magic:

Coilfang Stalker (2,2,1)
Energized / Erudite / Eldritch Manafiend (1,2,1)
Lesser Voidcaller (2,2,1)

Use Focused Beams repeatedly against Itchy but block the first Whirlpool with Illusionary Barrier (and pass the turn after if necessary). Spam Focused Beams until Itchy is dead. You should be able to get off two more Focused Beams against the Salty Bird, but try to use Surge of Power just before you die.

Switch in the Lesser Voidcaller, who finishes the Salty Bird with Nether Blasts. Use your Curse of Doom on the first turn against Grommet, use Nether Blasts until you die, and have any Manafiend finish the fight with Arcane Blasts, using Surge of Power on the last hit (when the Curse of Doom also hits).

My team for The Lil' Necromancer part of Family Familiar:

Fragment of Anger (1,1,1)
Macabre Marionette (2,1,1)
boosted or backup undead pet, as you wish. I didn't had to use it at all.

I started with Fragment of Anger's Spiritfire Beam followed by Soulrush. Then Spiritfire Bolt as a filler and Spiritfire Beam and Soulrush on cool down, just as alexsaur said on his strategy. I guess I had some bad luck, because somehow my Fragment of Anger died midfight vs. Salty Bird, but that didn't hindered me at all.
I continued with Macabre Marionette's Death and Decay followed by Dead Man's Party. Salty Bird died on 2nd wave, so the 3rd wave debuffed Grommet and I finished him with Bone Bite.
I guess you could easily squeeze a boosted pet between those two (bring him in after Fragment of Anger dies, then switch immediately to Macabre Marionette and continue as above). He just need to be high enough level to survive Cyclone in the back line.

I was able to almost solo this NPC with Xu-Fu, Cub of Xuen (2,1,2). I just used bite and used the prowl>feed combo for a heal. Use any beast back up pets for the "Best of the Beasts" achievement.

For you that's missing some of the pets from the guide I wanted to tell which I used.

For aquatic pets, I used 3 crabs (1,1,1), doesn't matter which (Emperor crab, Fen crab).
Keep Shell Shield and Renewing Mists up. Almost soloed all with just one crab, two should be enough.

For beast pets, I used Xu-Fu (1,2,2), Alpine Foxling (1,2,2) and Alpine Foxling Kit (1,2,2).

For critter pets, I used Rapana Whelk (1,1,1) and just filled up with Alpine Hare, Arctic Hare (1,1,1). Hares weren't that good, but got the kill

For dragon pets, I used Emerald Proto Whelp (2,1,1) and Chrominius (1,1,2) and some other dragonkin

For the achievement Ragnaros, Watch and Learn I used the following pets:

Tiny Snowman (only one speed) with Magic Hat, Call Blizzard, Deep Freeze
Molten Corgi (only one speed) with Flamethrower, Superbark, Puppies of the Flame
Living Sandling (didn't use him at all so use any elemental pet here) with Punch, Stoneskin, Quicksand

I was able to use 2 pets:

Scourged Whelpling (2,1,1)
Unborn Val'kyr (2,2,1)

I opened with Scourged Whelping and used Call Darkness. Spammed Tail Sweep. Downed the first and second pet and then my pet died.

Switched to Unborn Val'kyr and used Curse of Doom and spammed Shadow Shock.

Battle finished.

For Mousing Around, use any snails - including Zoom which is the only snail with slightly different abilities.
Snail options: Silkbead Snail | Rapana Whelk | Scooter the Snail | Mudshell Conch | Rusty Snail | Shimmershell Snail

Example:
Silkbead Snail (1/1/1)
Rapana Whelk (2/2/1) <-- you can use Zoom here
(Filler Critter)

Put Acidic Goo up and then use Ooze Touch. Time Dive with whenever Whirlpool will hit and is available, refresh Acidic Goo and else is just using Ooze Touch.
Your first snail will die eventually fighting Salty Bird, but second snail should finish it up.
Fighting Grommet should just be spamming Absorb without the need of using any other abilities.

If you want to do Ragnaros, Watch And Learn (all Elemental pets) and don't like the "just use this pet you can't get anymore LUL" strat, here's what worked for me:

Pandaren Water Spirit (1/2/1)
Ruby Sapling (2/2/1)
Topaz Shale Hatchling (2/1/2) -- I didn't need it, but it's good backup

1) Start out with Pandaren Water Spirit. Cast Whirlpool.
2) Cast Water Jet.
3) Cast Dive to avoid the enemy Whirlpool.
4) Cast Water Jet and Whirlpool on cooldown. Your Pandaren Water Spirit will likely die before you get a chance to use Dive again.
5) Pandaren Water Spirit dies. Bring in Ruby Sapling.
6) Cast Ironbark until Itchy dies.
7) Cast Photosynthesis.
8) Cast Ironbark until Photosynthesis is depleted.
9) Repeat steps 7 and 8 until Salty Bird dies. Salty Bird's rotation should allow you keep both your buffs up without taking extra damage.
10) Salty Bird dies, Grommet comes out.
11) Repeat steps 7 and 8 for Grommet.

I didn't need to use my third pet, but in case you do:

12) Cast Stoneskin.
13) Cast Sticky Web.
14) Cast Leech Life.
15) Cast Sticky Web.
16) Cast Leech Life.
17) Repeat steps 12 through 16 until Grommet dies.

For Master of Magic, I used Nordrassil Wisp utilizing Flash Light and Soul Ward in that order. You will have to pass a turn once in a rotation, but you will be able to take out the first 2 enemies with ease. I finished the match with Eldritch Manafiend, with Servant of Demidos in reserve.

For master of magic, i used Disgusting oozeling (2,1,2) (can be replaced by other ooze with the same abilities), arcane eye (1,2,2), lesser voidcaller (1,2,1) (didn't get to use the voidcaller, so you could potentially use anything here, not sure about lvling pet though, even though my arcane eye did down the last pet with like 200hp left, but it could just be pure luck)

Start with disgusting oozeling, acidic goo then corrosion and absorb as filler. Keep up the 2 dots, and just absorb until the crab die, it's a bit slow, but it'll get there. When 2nd pet come in, put as much dot as u can before your oozeling die, then use arcane eye to finish him off with focused beams. I only need to do 1 focus beams. On the last one, i used drain power, then mana surge to finish him off.

Note: i didn't use the 3rd pet, so you can try level a magic pet here, or have a 3rd level 20+ pet as back up. I got it in 1 go, so it could just be RNG, but hope this help =)

If you are doing Sharptalon Team Rumble quest I recommend you to use Eye of Observation (1/2/1). Easly soloed with him. Second pet or Sharptalon Hatchling wasn't even used.

Using advice from Zuggie1, I designed a more specific Best of the Beasts strategy, since I had some trouble going off of just what abilities needed to be set.

For Mousing Around, I used Darkmoon Hatchling (1/2/1), Rapana Whelk (1/1/1), and Nibbles (2/1/2). If you don't have the Collector's Edition, Mr. Wiggles should work. Against Itchy, I only needed Hawk Eye and Flock. When Salty Bird came in I Flocked again but my DMH only live for 2 rounds. Brought in the Whelk and Dived which took out Salty. Grommet killed my Whelk after I Goo'ed and Touched him a couple of times but Nibbles finished him off in two Bone Bites.This is a very straight forward and easy fight with this setup. Good luck!

For the achievement Mousing Around I used Bush Chicken (1,1,2), Mudshell Conch (1,1,1) and Rusty Snail (2,1,1). Actually all of Bodhi's pets died without me using Rusty Snail. You can use any conch/snail pets you have. I just made sure to have one with Ooze Touch (good against flying battle pets) and one with Absorb (good against humanoid battle pets).

Suspect I got lucky, but was able to solo him for Dragons! with Spawn of Onyxia with Breath, Healing Flame and Lift-Off.

Did 2 breaths, then Lift-Off, Healing Flame, then Lift-Off and Healing Flame on cooldown, with Breath in between.

Didn't need to pull out my background Dragonkins.

Goodday all,

This comment is for the Achievement mousing arround:

I Used 2 Silkbead Snails and a level 23 Blind Rat.

With this team you won''t defeat Bodhi very fast but it will do:)

Start with Acidic or ooze touch, I used Acidic Goo because Ooze touch is great againts the bird for later.

Use Dive when whirlpool is on 1 round after Dive switch to your seccond Snail, same ritual, you can use Absorb. To beat the first mob it took me 3 full rounds with the snails,

When the bird comes use again Dive and Ooze touch, (Don't bring you leveling critter). The snails will do their job.

Last mob dive absorb Acidic Goo or Ooze touch, One snail didn't survive.

@ about 600 hp I brought my leveling critter for 1 round, and let the snail Finish it.

I hope this wil help a bit, Remember just put the right buttons (for the downvoters:)

For Best of the Beasts a Lurking Owl Kitten (2,1,1) solo'd the first two pets and got the last one down to half health. I brought in a Lost Netherpup (2,2,x) to deal with the humanoid. Easy win!

I used Emerald Proto-Whelp (1-1-1) started with Proto strike and then Ancient Blessing then spam Breath and repeat
Chrominius (1-2-2) Surge of power, then Ancient blessing and filled will Bite
and a lvl 23 Erudite Manafiend (1-2-1) with Surge of Power

Easy Flying-only team for Flock Together. Doesn't rely on having any rare pets:

- Direbeak Hatchling. I opened with Falcosaur Swarm, used Ironskin to catch the resolution of Whirlpool, and then returned to Falcosaur Swarm. Honestly, any bird would probably do against Itchy.

- Sentinel's Companion will destroy Salty Bird with its Magic moveset.

- Tiny Sporebat for Grommet.

I barely needed the latter; Grommet was almost dead by the time Sentinel's Companion went down.

Direbeak Hatchling is available from the Falcosaur Swarm WQ in Stormheim. Sentinel's Companion is from an inn quest in Warlords of Draenor's garrison. Tiny Sporebat is from Exalted with Sporregar. The latter two can probably be picked up on the AH for cheap.

Great battle for leveling pets as long as you have Anubisath Idol(AI).
Put two level pets(LP), around 15 is the lowest I went, in the first two slots and make sure AI is set for the standard 1/1/1.
Use Smash as filler.
Use Sandstorm whenever available. This is what keeps your LPs alive during Salty Bird's Cyclone.
Use Deflection for Itchy's Whirpool and after he's dead whenever you'd like excepting that you have it available by the second round with Grommet.

Itchy
Round 1: Itchy will use Whirlpool. LP does whatever
Round 2: Itchy will use Renewing Mists. Switch LP.
Round 3: Itchy will use Surge, LP does whatever. Whirlpool goes off.
Itchy will Surge again and then go for Whirlpool. Once the Root debuff is gone switch to AI and kill Itchy.

Salty Bird(SB)
Round 1: SB will use Cyclone.
Round 2: SB will use Hawkeye
Round 3: SB will use Slicing Wind until Cyclone is available then repeat his actions.
Keep Sandstorm up.
Smash, as filler.
I save up Deflection, towards the end of Salty Bird's life, for when Grommet comes out to avoid his Punch on Round 2.

Grommet
Round 1: Grommet will use Lucky Dance.
Round 2: Grommet will use Punch.
Round 3: Grommet will use Stampede and after it ends repeat his actions.

If you have a Critter to level they are great in the second LP slot as they will avoid Whirlpool's Root debuff and you can get to AI earlier.

I used a level 22 arcane eye p/s 1,1,1, an eldritch manafiend p/s 1,2,1, and a h/s lesser voidcaller 2,2,1.

Started off with eyeblast, then interrupting gaze. Used focused beams as a filler. The arcane eye was able to solo the first npc, and get one focused beam off on the bird which crit for 700. The eldritch manafiend took care of the 2nd NPC and nearly soloed the third, between surge, arcane blasts, and an arcane storm. The lesser voidcaller used nether blast once and the fight was over.

For Master of Magic, I used (in this order)

Eldritch Manafiend breed P/S (1,2,1)
Any magical pet

Itchy: Use the Arcane Explosion and Arcane Winds to bring the back line pets hp down. Use Surge of Power when you are sure it will drop Itchy.

Salty Bird: Use Erudite Manafiend until he is dead, then choose Eldritch Manafiend. Use Surge of Power and Salty Bird should die here.

Grommet: His health should be at least at half, and you can easily finnish him with Eldritch Manafiend.

Easily took out Itchy with my bloodgazer hatchling using Falcosaur Swarm followed by Predatory Strike, swapped to my celestial dragon with moonfire, used flamethrower then moonfired Salty Bird to finish it off, finished off Grommet with a flamethrower, ancient blessing, then a moonfire, then a flamethrower to finish it up.

Roboteer is easy on this fight and there are a couple of strategies but I'll add mine.

I could almost entirely solo it with just a Son of Animus using 1/1/1

Vs Pet 1: Metal Fist, Extra Plating, Metal Fist, Siphon Anima, Metal Fist, Metal Fist, Extra Plating, Siphon Anima, Metal Fist (then might need one more.)
Vs Pet 2: Metal Fist, Metal Fist, Extra Plating, Siphon Anima, Metal Fist, Metal Fist.
Vs Pet 3: You should get a couple of attacks off with Metal Fist and using Siphon on cooldown before it dies, then just switch to whatever other mechanical pet you have - anything with an ability that negates swarm damage if you want to be extra safe.

Strategy for two man Pet Leveling:

Jade Owl
Slicing Wind / Adrenaline Rush / Cyclone

Servant of Demidos
Magic Sword / Siphon Anima / Soul Rush

Water Pet = 600 - 1k Health
Dragon Pet = 400 - 600 Health
Any other Pet = 600+ Health

Strategy:
1. Lead with Level Pet (Use one skill that doesnt carry over the next)
2. Swap to Jade Owl
3. Cyclone
4. Spam Slicing Wind until Itchy is dead
5. Salty Bird comes out
6. Adrenaline Rush
7. Cyclone
8. Either Jade Owl is Dead or you get to use a slicing wind
9. Bring out Servant of Demidos
10. Soul rush should one shot Salty bird (Salty Bird needs to be less than 868)
11. If Demidos Health is below 800 use Siphon Anima, otherwise spam Magic Sword to victory.

Solo the fight, he smashes first pet, and kills the other two by himself, the fight ended with him being 50% hp, I don't know if I was lucky, but thats it.

You can also use him for family familiar, human, just put any other 2 human pets.

For DRAGONKIN achievement, I soloed all three enemy pets with Albino Chimaeraling (B/B) . It can be purchased from AH and costs around 2.5k on Kazzak with current prices of 25 lvl B/B 8k gold.
Good luck.
(The enemy did miss one-two times during darknes, but you still have 2 more pets to go )

Edit: For HUMANS achievement, soloed with Anubisath Idol. (1-1-1) - also purchaseable and goes very cheap on Kazzak (25lvl version for 2k)

Edit2: For CRITTERS soloed with Aqir Tunneler (2-2-1) - you win slowly by around 6 casts of sandstorm. Just keep your shield up and you will be pretty much invincible

Edit3: For ELEMENTS did it with Blossoming Ancient (2-2-2), Fozling (2-2-2), Sun Sproutling (2-2-1) but I didn't really use the sproutling. Idea of this battle is to keep Sunlight and Photosynthesis up and aoe the ^&*! of the enemy team. This setup is legit for numerous encounters. Universal elementals team.

So yesterday I took all my new low lvl pets to this tamer as I just realized he is like Sir Galveston and I lvled up about 2 dozen pets just like I do with Sir Galveston and Squirt. Going to see if any of the other Legion Dalaran Tamers are like this. Is this something new or did I miss it all this time that not just Sir Galveston is used to lvl our pets?
