Anybody know why these things keep popping out of nowhere and attacking?

Just started these quests on my 7th max toon and now just finding these mobs, why were they added?

These assassins can be found in and around the houses on the outer portion of Southwestern Suramar City.

They are hostile NPCs, regardless of whether or not you are in disguise (Masquerade), even though they do not have the usual blue eye above their heads or the related Detector on their buff bar..

It appears they must spawn later into the Suramar quest chain as they were not in these buildings before OR may have just been added to all instances of Suramar City with patch 7.1.

I've found that the best way to handle these mobs is to take your hands off of the keyboard and do anything else for 15 seconds while they kill you. This technique saved me a lot of trouble.

There is a treasure chest upstairs in the house at 41.06, 69.73 (the house on the right if you're looking at the two doors of the building). Unless there's an incredibly short spawn time, there are at least 4 of these mobs in the house. One as you turn right onto the stairs, one at the top of the stairs, another in the room if you look to the right at the top of the staircase, and one more in the room across from the treasure chest. If you can stealth, you can get by with only drawing two of these mobs. If you position correctly, you can unstealth and grab the treasure chest. After you grab the chest, *do not drop down out of stealth*. You'll pull the (at least) two mobs that are left. Unstealth, loot, restealth, jump down.

I'm not a very good player, so others may do better than me at this, but I had a wicked rough time. They're hard to fight in close quarters. They also teleport behind you and it was difficult to get them one-on-one. Hope this helps. It was awfully aggravating.
