Enhancement Shaman, and a Priest (I don't know what spec) were able to take it. I just let my earth elemental tank and I healed it whenever the Priest would run low on mana. Took a little less than 2 minutes though, just keep whacking at her you'll get it down. As long as you have a good healer if you're using a tank pet or a good tank it should be easy enough.

Must say that enslaving felguard doesn't work - it's too far away from forge camp, so I lost control of felguard in the middle of the way.

So i asked some ppl to help. Easy.

i tried enslaving one of the felguards, but when i sent him after Tusker, the felguard disapeared. i dont know if it happens every time, but if you're a lock using this strategy, be careful of this

Solo'd it on my lvl 66 feral druid. Wasn't the easiest fight I've been in, but it wasn't the toughest either. Hits for 500-600 on 9,3k armor.

67 affliction lock 53/5/0, 700 spellpower with Glyph of Spirit Tap. Took me three times to down her, the second one she was left with 1.4k hp.

Problem with affliction at this point is that VW is no tank and can only hold aggro until the first spell hits. He's greatly useful though for his abilities include Sacrifice and Suffering.

Used to down her - Super Healing pot, Healthstone, Death Coil, aforementioned Sacrifice.

Spirit Tap rank 1 (for glyph) + spellpower trinket, then
Haunt -> Corruption -> Curse of Agony -> Unstable Affliction

During that I gained aggro, taunted with VW and gained a few seconds. It's possible to either use Immolate or wait for and renew Haunt, which really helps with healing. I found it better to do without Immolate. If you have a second spellpower trinket, get ready to use it, as the 15 seconds CD the first trinket triggers will soon wear off.

Keep up Haunt and Unstable Affliction, and Drain Life all the time. When you get below 50%, use a Healthstone, heal pot or Death Coil (the CC won't kick in, just heals you). If you get low on mana, use Sacrifice, Life Tap then quickly Life Drain your health up.

Also, be sure to clear the area around well, some of the elleks can wander quite far and might aggro.

Soloed this as a 66 combat rogue, well geared for my level (1250 AP, 6800 HP with potion buffs). It was more difficult than Banthar and the talbuk, but less so than Gutripper (mainly because you cannot open with cheapshot on gutripper).

Cheapshotted, sinister striked once, then put up slice and dice. Immediately after SnD I popped evasion as the cheap shot ended, and then adrenaline rush. I sinister striked to 5-cp eviscerates until evasion ran out, then popped a volatile healing potion and used snd/blade flurry/killing spree.

After spree finished, I was able to finish off tusker with a few more sinister strikes and an eviscerate, ending the fight at ~35% hp. I didn't have to use lifeblood but other than that I used pretty much every applicable cooldown.

A word of warning- tusker has a physical dot (gore) that will make blind/bandage ineffective, assuming blind even works (I didn't try). She can kill you extremely quickly once your evasion runs out so you really don't want this fight to last longer than 30-40 seconds.

Mut rogues have more leeway given a second evasion, but I'm not sure if they can generate the dps needed to kill off tusker in time. Also, they have less avoidance... If any mutilate rogues have solo'd this I'd be interested to hear your method.

Soloable as a 67 Feral druid -
Open up with Faerie Fire to reduce its armor, keep Lacerate and Demoralizing Roar up at all times, use mangle when off its CD and make sure you maul instead of auto attacking. when you reach about 30% health hit Frenzied Regeneration to regain some health. Rinse and repeat but instead of using Frenzied Regeneration hit Tuskar with a Bash then cast around two Regrowth's to get full Hp and a Rejuvenation then shift back into bear and repeat, Gz on solo'in Tuskar =P

Solo'd @ 67 feral tank spec

Protector of the pack probably helps alot, had about 11kHP and 12k armour.

Just used my boss rotation

Mangle, Lacerate x3, Mangle, Lacerate x2, then just keep lacerate & mangle up and swipe for extra dmg.

Soloed as a lvl 65 unholy dk it was little hard died first time second time i killed him in frost precence using one healing potion and i kept my self alive with deathstrike if it wasnt for deathstrike i would have died so everytime you have the option to use deathstrike use it

Soloed as 67 Moonkin druid, opened with treants while i put rejuv and regrowth on me and then went all out with starfall and starfire. Did a Typhoon and healed once then finished up with 50% hp.

Soloed as a level 67 Arcane Mage.

Soloed all the bosses in the area the same way. I have Nether Vortex, so just Arcane Blast with PoM once to pull, spam AB until boss gets into meele. When that happens, trigger Mirror Image, blink to gain distance, and spam Arcane Blast until the boss dies. If you run low on Mana make sure to have a Gem ready. The boss will continue attacking the mirror images for the duration, and you should be able to burn it down faster than Mirror Image expires. I crit with AB for about 5-5.5k at 67 with 4 stacks and the Vengence of the Illidari tinket up, i'm not sure if that's normal or not, but I'm in mostly quest greens.

KILLED TUSKER ALONE:

Night Elf -Hunter - level 67
Pet: Saber

Position: UPPER LEFT SIDE of HILL (use hill as shield)

Killed TUSKER by using Pet Saber as a Tank:
Repeatly used: Pet BEAST LORE, KILL COMMAND, PET AMEND (used this alot)
Sporatically used ARCANE SHOT, CONCUSSIVE AND MULTI SHOT..

Until TUSKER health is really down the used KILLED SHOT to finish her off..

killed it solo with an enhantsment shaman u have to use water shield all the time and stormstrike when u can so u wont oom and heal with lesser healing wave

In 4.3, many group quests in Outland are being re-tuned to allow for solo play. Due to this, on the PTR, Tusker is now non-elite: a level 68 mob with 13084 HP.

As it seems from patch 4.3 he has only 13084 HP :) easy soloable :)
