These are immune to crowd control, hit tanks decently hard and have a frontal cleave. Their CC breaking ability being the only real ability of note:

Free Friend breaks the other mobs out of crowd control, with a very obvious monster yell along the lines of "Return to your original form, Coilskar Soothsayer!". Pulling the other mobs out of line of sight of the generals prevents them from being freed in this fashion, though that can be tricky with the obnoxious line of sight issues in the sewers.

Free Friend places a five second CC immunity effect on the mob, which negates the crowd control effect and prevents it from being immediately reapplied. Since a buff negates the crowd control effect instead of "removing" it, mods like Big Brother won't detect a crowd control break as there is no "So-and-so's polymorph is removed by So-and-so's cleanse" in the combat log. This removes all crowd control effects, including banish.

It appeared that sapping the Coilskar Sea-Caller was the only crowd control that was effective when we had a pull right before High Warlord Naj'entus with two Coilskar Generals, two Coilskar Sea-Callers, and two Aqueous Surgers. During our raid in mid December 2007, we were unable to find a positioning using line of sight tricks that would allow polymorph to be used consistently on the Coilskar Sea-Callers. We ended up sapping both Coilskar Sea-Callers, tanking all Coilskar Generals and Aqueous Surgers, killing both Aqueous Surgers followed by killing both Coilskar Generals. The tanks from the dead Aqueous Surgers would tank the sapped Coilskar Sea-Callers facing away from the raid once the saps broke. Mages would assist a tank and keep the Sea-Callers polymorphed as much as possible until both Generals were dead.

: One way I've found to successfully do this pull, is to misdirect the Generals onto tanks that are midway up the ramp leading to these mobs, and CC the rest on the top. It's likely that two of the CC will be broken while the generals are on the way down, but just have the OTs lead them back onto the top during the time they are un CCable, then re-CC.
