Soloed as a level 80 Prot Pally. Was able to avoid a fair few of the pats and skip Novos entirely, I had to fight Trollgore though, but it was a fairly easy fight. Didn't bother with the raptor patrols after the bat room, just ran in talked to the Elder in Dred's Pen and bubble hearthed out. Was surprisingly easy, I imagine most tanking classes and all the classes with stealthing ability being able to solo this.

Very easily soloed as a level 80 Druid (balance, so I don't have the talent to make my stealth more effective either). The only room that I even came close to being unstealthed was the one with the spiders. Just stick to the walls and you should be good.

There's one raptor very near the elder (who's right by King Dred) but I found that if I pressed myself into the corner behind the elder I could unstealth and still be outside of aggro range.

Stealthed as an 80 Resto Druid (no points in feral tree FS for stealth detection reduction) with no problems at all, as long as you can be somewhat patient and watch the paths of the mobs. Note that you can also do this on Normal Difficulty so it makes it easier. There is a raptor that pats near Elder, just keep your body to the wall or corner behind him and youll be fine...if your hearth isnt up or youre too lazy to hearth you can stealth your way out of the instance easily.

Soloed as a lvl 80 hunter.

I killed the first two mobs, but after that I just FD'd my way through. Cat pet was useful for stealth recon.

In the first hallway, FD between the last group and the stairs where the trolls are standing, looking like they're in combat. Rez pet.

Next FD is behind the stairs.

Stand in the hallway between Trollgore's room and the stairs. Watch the pats... you don't want to pull the big glowing undead guys. Here I left my pet in the hallway and MD'd the little group to the left of the door. Run to the stairs under Trollgore. FD. One of the big guys pats near the stairs, so careful.

Next, I waited until Trollgore wasn't being attacked and sent pet, then ran past. It's possible that you could kill Trollgore, I guess, but... I didn't try.

Next is the spider room... I stealthed partly in with my cat and targeted the farthest spider, then came back out and sent cat in on Dash... run through to the hallway and FD.

This is Novos' room. Run to the right, hug the wall. Go into the hallway... the next room is the large group of bats. Cat stealth again to target the big rider in the middle... be careful of a couple of bats that pat around the room.

This one was close for me, as my cat didn't pick up all the bats and a couple came after me. The door's on the left, run through and FD in the middle of the square tile in the hallway. The pat in the next room comes pretty close, so be careful.

Same again on the raptors here, and run to the end and around to the dead end to the right. All the way into the wall and you're safe. From here you could probably mount up and run to the elder, he's at the end of this straightaway, right inside Dred's room. I played it safe.

Pet on the riders, run past them and around to the left, up the stairs a little to the first landing, FD.

The riders in this section spawn raptors, and they didn't go for my pet, they went for me. Not a big deal, but there you go.

The elder is right there... wait for the pat to be away, run in and FA the raptor, talk to the Elder, you're done. Back to the landing and FD, hearth.

Just one more for me, then I'm Elder Gamon.... need a group for AN, though. :-(

Trollgore resets if you run past him and into the tunnel between his room and the spider room. Trollgore was only hitting for around 600 on mail.

At level 80 it is possible to run around the outside of Novos' room in order to skip him.

Easily duoed all the trash up to the Elder with a lock and shaman. No invisibility pots needed.

Soloed as a Shadow Priest in ICC10/25 gear. Just remember to Renew + Bubble before each pull, and Disperse if things get hairy, to let your DoTs whittle the mobs down. Trollgore was barely hitting me for 500 in Shadowform, and he resets when you leave his room, anyways. You can walk past Novos, and clearing the room full of bats isn't too hard, as 2-3 ticks of Mind Sear will kill them.

The real problem is the pull afterward, with the raptor rider and two raptors. Just DoT up the rider, and when the raptors reach you, fear them. You should have the rider dead by the time the fear ends, DoT up all the raptors, and Disperse. I had to get out of Shadowform and spam Holy Nova / PoM on myself to stay alive, but the raptors easily died from DoTs. The next two raptor riders you can wait for them to pat back to the stairs, and just run past them, straight to the Elder.

Pulled everything along the road there as ret paladin without killing a single mob using judgement "sprint", freedom and holy wrath for stuning the undead mobs to free myself from daze and came out without problem. I used bubble before the last boss and jumped down, if you plan doing this please note that you'll get few hits/spells on you on your way out before leaving combat even tho the mobs are out of range at the very end of the instance, some bug that almost killed me.

Easily solo'd as an 85 warlock. Normally I'm destro but I broke out demo to use the felguard. Just send him into the room of Abom's and Ghouls and let him do his Felstorm, Takes care of most of them.

Soloed as an 81 Frost Death Knight. Lots of sneaking, but Howling Blast, Outbreak and Pestilence made all the adds tolerable.

I like how 90% of these comments are bragging and not actually helpful for anyone...

He's very near King Dred in the Raptor Pens. There were very few mobs I couldn't sneak by (I don't have any sort of stealth) at 85; I just hugged those walls. Hard. (The only ones I didn't get by were a few trolls in the beginning, Trollgore though I didn't even attempt to get by him, perhaps you can, some of the Darkweb Spiders, and a group of Drakkari Handlers near the Elder. I might have been too hasty on a few and maybe you can get by some that I didn't, I'm not sure).

I was competing with server shut down time, fortunately I was able to get it and out of the instance before maintenance began. Now, to wait 8 hours to get the other like, 5 I need for the Elders of Northrend/Dungeons achievements :`)

This is soloable by a mage using invisibility. Did it with my lvl 82 and I didn't have to kill anything. You run to a corner when the invis is about to time out and wait for the cooldown. Do this in short bursts and you should be alright.

First things first. Drak'Tharon Keep is a large castle looking structure in the northwest corner of Grizzly Hills. The southern entrance is located at coordinates (18.1, 27.0) in Grizzly Hills. Go inside and run up the long ramp and you will eventually get to the meeting stone. Turn left and there's the entrance!

There is also a northern entrance to the same long ramp. You get to it from the Zul'Drak zone, at coordinates (29.0,83.5) in Zul'Drak. From this direction you have to run DOWN the ramp and turn RIGHT at the meeting stone to get to the entrance.
