If you go to Hrothgar's Landing to pickpocket Kvaldir Reaver and Kvaldir Mist Binder for Worn Troll Dice, be aware of the following.

With the current Wowhead pickpocket rates listed for the dice from these mobs (1.3% and 0.7%), it may seem like statistically you ought to be likely to loot the dice within about 100 pickpockets. But that's not the way these numbers ought to be interpreted.

Wowhead records the data anytime a player with the Wowhead Looter addon pickpockets an item. But the vast majority of the times these mobs are pickpocketed, they only drop a few silver, and no item, so Wowhead makes no record of it.

So whenever these mobs are pickpocketed and an item is looted, maybe something approximately like 1 time in 100, that item will be the dice.

But you may pickpocket half a dozen mobs who drop only silver, in between each mob that you get an item when you pickpocket.

These mobs can be successfully farmed for the troll dice, just be aware that it may take on average several hundred pickpockets to get the dice, not an average of one hundred picks.
