Fight as of the Beta:

Because this fight is fairly story heavy, if you're afraid of spoilers you might want to avoid reading.

After defeating Captain Cookie, the final boss of normal deadmines, a note will appear on the ground in Heroic. Clicking the note spawns Vanessa VanCleef. She'll RP for a moment, then poison you. This knocks you out and gives you a Nightmare Debuff.

You'll wake in the Foundry, tied to your party, and being lowered into some slag. Click the valves to be released.

You'll jump off, and find you are in the nightmare of Glubtok (first boss). Fire will cover most of the ground (it hurts) and Ice will drops, marked on the ground with giant runes where it'll hit. Dodge all of this, and make your way to the bottom and the exit. Kill Glubtok, he's nothing like before so don't worry about damage. When he's dead, next nightmare starts.

This time it's Helix, who is afraid of spiders. Lots and lots of Spiders. Nuke Helix as fast as possible, otherwise the spiders will overwhelm you. Next nightmare.

The door opens, and you're in The Foe reaper's nightmare. Simply dodge the sparks, get to the end of the hall, kill Foe Reaper. Enter the docks for the next nightmare.

Next is Ripsnarl's nightmare. Worgen are attacking his family. Just follow the path like you'd normally do in this dungeon, and you'll encounter three family members. The first two are attacked by three Worgens. They don't do much damage, but they will frequently leave the tank to go damage the NPC. Healers can heal them up if they get to low. The third, near the deck of the ship, is held by Ripsnarl, who won't attack. DPS need to burn him, and healers need to heal the NPC as she takes much more damage than the other two. After this, the nightmare is over.

Head to the deck, where she's waiting for you. Vanessa herself does not hit too hard. She does a dashing attack that leaves a small dot on the targets. Adds will spawn from the cabin of the ship. These are the Defias adds you found throught Deadmines, and have the annoying abilties those had. Balance between damagine her and killing them, you may want to LoS the cabin itself to drag casters out as they will hang out in there otherwise. At 50 percent she will detonate bombs, and 5 ropes will be active near the side of the ship pointing toward the Westfall exit cave. Click on one to swing off and not get hit by the bombs (if you stay you're likely dead). You'll get swung off then back. It's important to note that only one person can use a rope. So plan who's using which one so you don't have someone die because all the ropes they tried got used. She'll do this again at 25 percent as well, use the ropes. Just fight like normal, then at 1 percent she'll do a final bomb phase, use the ropes, and she kills herself.

Also a note in regards to dying on this encounter. The times I did it on the Beta, it could be a little wonky on where to restart the fight, or even if you could at all. Head to the nightmare you died on, and not back to her, you won't need to redo them all.
