Not sure if I got extremely lucky, or these are actually good mobs to farm, but they seem to have a fairly high chance to drop Skyshards. I managed to get the last 2 I needed within a 45 minute window.

They also respawn instantly upon killing them, which made them an easy kill minus the fact that they do hit fairly hard (for fish), so be prepared with self cooldowns or a friend that is willing to help (I would suggest a ranged class that can throw a quick instant spell to tag them and get them to swim over to you, so no movement is required).

Even if you're unlucky enough to not see a Skyshard from them for awhile, they seem to drop an extremely high amount of greens and quite a few motes, along with other greys (Golden Hook has a pretty decent vendor price), so it's not a bad source of extra gold.

After about 4 of so hours farming finally got my first Skyshard off of these fish. These guys are pretty awesome to farm, pulling two at a time and using blade flurry by the time those two were dead two more were up. You can stand in the middle of them and just spin in a circle, also every 2 mins I'd use Battle Horn and AoE down the 3 or 4 it would pull. I got tons of greens, around 6 lockboxes, probably around 7 stacks of the Golden Hooks and more Sharp Fangs that I could count, and 1 Skyshard so far :) Happy Alani Hunting everyone :)

Edit: I've also made around 8 Spirit of Harmony in farming these guys as well.
