Solo'd easily as 90 rogue. Just keep interrupting his casts and he doesn't do a lot of physical damage.

If you are ranged class, you can pull this guy into the water and swim a bit away from the shore, zoning your self into the Dread Wastes. This way Unstable Serum from the Klaxxi will kill him in less than 10 seconds.

I found him at 42.42 , 92.57 on a small spit of land along the coastline. I'm a lvl 90 DK and had no problem with him at all.

Strangest thing. I was just following the guy at Halfhill's suggestions for good placed to fish, flew over, and settled down to haul in some mantis shrimp (how fishing line can survive mantis shrimp is surely another story).

But, out of nowhere, I was attacked by a makrura. This guy. Only afterwards, after reading the thing he dropped and curiously examining the trinket, was I distracted from my original goal and set out instead to hunt down some suspicious crab people.

I found them somewhat challenging to solo, on my 90 monk. This occurred to me as strange. But what DIDN'T occur to me until long after I was done was that I had forgotten to unequip my fishing pole.

I guess the moral of the story is that makrura are chumps. Please, beat these guys up with your fishing poles. Teach them that crab people cannot handle Pandaria.

Fairly easy fight for Mistwalker Monk (i450).

Similar fight so far with all of these guys for Clamshell Band.

Drop Jade Statue Open with Chi-Wave, throw out Xuen and go to town with Jade Lightning .

Tag Surging Mist on proc (for an extra Chi) and Chi-Wave if it comes back up. As your Chi fills you can use either Tiger Palm or Blackout Kick as a Chi dump depending on your preference, this is a little more of a pain as Odd'nirok is a caster and you have to run up to punch him in the face.

I was getting hit for 37k-47k with Water Bolt, but healed to full via dps between casts. The push back from Wave Crash is annoying, but doesn't do much else. Ended the fight with Touch of Death. It seems these guys are getting marginally more difficult as you progress to the higher zones, but that is to be expected.
