These guys are needed for Wrangling a Wolf.

You have to hop a few connected islands to get to them because they're on top of Shadowfall Canyon.

The ONLY way to get to these is by jumping to each floating island that is above Shadowfall Canyon.

I found that if you start your jumping at 58, 61 then you will not have a hard time getting over to where the quest starts.

For anyone wondering how to get up there. The path is at 58.20:64.86. Go up the ramp, jump across where the tree is, jump again to the next area straight ahead, and then run up the small slope in the rock formation and you'll see all the wolves there.

Note: There is a ramp to your left once you get there, if you go up it, you'll find Scout Pohkar, another one of Draenor's rares.

Prepare to jump a lot while taming this wolf. You can and most likely will fall into the canyon below, then you may have to fight your way through lvl 99 mobs to get out.

If you've taken the Corral in Nagrand DO NOT ride your special mount to catch the wolf. The quest won't complete and your lassoed wolf will just disappear. Tried it three time before I thought to swap to my normal mount and, hey presto, worked first go.

This wasn't that stressful, thankfully the leaps are fairly small and one you can avoid all together by running to the right around the tree.

Only a few small hops and he runs back through where you first rope him and stops short of the cliff...

...seriously your heart jumps over the cliff, but he does stop, and you need to stop with him.

Here is an easy way to get to the Young Snarlers! Start at the Ring of Trials. Get on the main path located south of the Ring of Trials, heading west. Go west past Telaar.

Keep going west on the main path until you get to a Y in the road where the left path goes to Grommashar and the right path goes to Lok-rath (read the signpost!). Do not take either path, run around the signpost and just keep going straight. Be cautious, there will be some aggro-able non-elite Leatherhide Clefthoofs you may need to deal with, and also a band of Nagrand Warriors patrols through here.

Go around the signpost and go west by slightly southwest across the grass. Don't veer up or down, go flat. You will see some Windrocs, one flying on either side of your first jump.

Take a running jump over the breach. Now you are on a little island. Keep going straight ahead to the west side of the island and jump over the (somewhat smaller) breach. Now you are on the same piece of terrain as the Young Snarlers.

Run a few steps forward and turn right past the gnarly tree. Run a few yards uphill and you will see a little graveyard with torches and skulls on posts, and all around this area, the Young Snarlers.
