Taralune is a Grand Master Pet Trainer in Talador, near Auchindoun on the southern end.

She has 3 Moths:

Serendipity
Grace
Atonement

Who are a cinch to beat if you just pick Magic based pets who have strong against flying moves like Arcane Storm, Arcane Blast or Ooze Touch

Taralune offers a moderate challenge if you have lowbie pet in your team for leveling purposes or if you are going for An Awfully Big Adventure. For the achievement you don't actually have to use the Elekk Plushie, it can just hang around in team without ever participating the battle, but not against Taralune. Beating her with two level 25 pets can be annoying but far from impossible. Many two pet combinations can handle her and I've included two of them below (setup A is probably a bit more reliable one, but with Setup B your carry pet doesn't take any damage):

Setup A:

Rascal-Bot with

and Nexus Whelpling (#4 P/P but other breeds should work too) with

Lowbie requirements: 800 HP (900 if the pet is an Aquatic or 1,100 if the pet is a Flying)

The course of the battle:

Start with Elekk Plushie or your lowbie. Your lowbie needs to have enough HP (800+ or less with Mech pet) to soak the first three abilities from Serendipity which are Counterspell, Cocoon Strike and Feedback. This is because the moth's high speed combined with Counterspell and Cocoon Strike makes it hard to land hits until the Flying racial gets deactivated.
Swap to Rascal Bot to soak Counterspell (and to get Immunity for the next one!) and then cast Lens Flare.
Serenpidity will have -50% hit chance for two rounds during which it will cast first Cocoon Strike and then Counterspell. You need to land Phaser three times which will kill the first moth. DON'T use the Lens Flare on Serenpidity for the second time.
When Grace enters, first cast Lens Flare.
Again three Phaser hits will snuff out Grace and depending on your luck with Lens Flare, your Rascal Bot will might be dead or still going strong to face the third moth.
If your Bot is still alive, start again with Lens Flare and work your way with Phaser until either Bot or Atonement dies.
If your Rascal Bot died against Grace, your Nexus Whelpling shouldn't have much problems finishing off whatever is still standing with Mana Surge when Arcane Storm is up.

The end result can vary a LOT because of Lens Flare, but usually it favors the player and I've even managed to kill each moth with Rascal Bot alone. Armageddon isn't really needed but you can drop it if you choose so, for instance when Bot is about to die.

If you lack the Rascal Bot, you can also use the following:

Chrominius with

Arcane Explosion
Ancient Blessing
(the last ability is indifferent)

and Nexus Whelpling (#4 P/P but other breeds should work too) with

Lowbie requirements: None

The course of the battle:

Start with Chrominius. Your first action is irrelevant as Serendipity will interrupt it with Counterspell.
In the secound round, the moth continues to annoy you with Cocoon Strike, so answer it by casting Arcane Explosion to break the cocoon and to cleave the other flyers. Next cast Ancient Blessing to heal up a bit as Feedback will hit your pet on the next round.
Drop two Arcane Explosions to the enemy team. During the AE first your pet is hit by another Counterspell, but your Resilient negates the interrupt and during the second AE, another Feedback hits your dragonkin.
It is very crucial to pass on the next turn. Serenpidity will cast another Cocoon Strike during this round. The reason to pass the round is that you'll next move will be another Ancient Blessing. If you had attacked (and had thus broken the cocoon), you wouldn't have been able to land the heal because the moth will cast Counterspell again. As the cocoon is still intact, your heal lands first and the interrupt gets pretty much wasted.
Cast two Arcane Explosions more, in return you are hit by two Feedbacks. If all has gone well, your pet is at very low HP at this point.
Chrominius will die to a Counterspell on the next round no matter what you try to cast. Having your first dragon dead, bring in your lowbie or elekk and immediately swap the Nexus Whelpling to the fray. A Cocoon Strike should hit your whelp when it enters.
Your whelpling's first cast is Arcane Storm while Serenpidity casts Feedback once more (it will negate nicely the interrupt effect from Counterspell).
Now comes the fun part! Having Arcane Winds up, you are free to cast Mana Surge which scores a hatrick. The first hit will finish off Serenpidity.
Grace will cast Call Lightning which hurts but changes nothing: the second Mana Surge hits snuffs out the moth as it's already weakened by several Arcane Explosion hits and the Arcane Storm hit.
Likewise, the third Mana Surge hit will disintegrate the already weakened Atonement into a pile of ashes.

This tactic is rather reliable one, but one bad critical hit before the step 6 might mess up the whole try. Not only it shuffles the course of the battle, but it also means less damage to the other moths and thus Mana Surge hits might not oneshot them. Nevertheless, it's still very solid tactic in overall.

I was able to easily 2 man this with Lil' Tarecgosa and Sprite Darter Hatchling (the easily obtainable nether faerie dragon has the same skills sets). I waited until the last pet to switch out for one round for my leveling pet then switched back to one of my dragons. Had plenty of health left and was no struggle two-manning this unlike some of the other master pet tamers.

I just countered this NPC with all mechanicals. Lil XT, Darkmoon Zep, and the Darkmoon tonk. Once I figured out which spells they use in order it was easy to figure out and beat.

I found the easiest strategy was to start with a Clockwork gnome. As long as you keep building turrets, repair on cooldown, and fill in with metal fist, he will take out the first one easily (wasting the cocoons with the first turret shot so that the rest hit) and die to the second. Once the enemy team casts lightning storm, it will effectively double the power of the turrets, giving you plenty of opportunity to swap in a lowbie pet and finish off the battle with another pet of your choice.

for thoes just getting into Petbattleing, and If you have just a basic stable, Clockwork Rocket bot (blue) is a good choice, the 2 step launch rocket is a nice way to get around the coccooning, Toxic smoke is a good way to keep damage ticking onto her, and missle for thoes times when you can.

Secont pet I use is a Mountain Cottontail, (Stampeed tricks the weather into hitting repetedly) but any pet with a reliable multiple hit is good

After that my third varies, Mechanical pet Dragonling is decent but can take hits if the storm is still up, but usualy any magic pet seems to be good for the third slot, or generaly any most pets that are blue and only need 1 -2 levels

4. Arcane Explosion x2 for AoE damage
5. Pass so you don't break the cocoon
6. Ancient Blessing again to live longer
7. Surge of Power to finish off the moth

Chrominius will die to lightning storm, but thats fine, he soaked it for us.

swap to carry pet, then instantly switch to Nether Faerie Dragon

vs Grace

1. Moonfire to counter the lightning
2. Arcane Blast x1-2 to finish it (dragon buff its usually once)

vs Atonement

1. Arcane Blast (if you gain dragon buff again this one wrecks him)
2. Moonfire

Tested 7-8 Times without fail, unless you have horrible rng.

After the first try I could finish them all with these two:

Chrominius: Arcane Explosion, Howl, Surge of Power (in that order with the first pet, otherwise your Surge will be blocked).
Emerald Proto Whelp: Emerald Bite (use constantly untill you've lost 505 health, then use Ancient Blessing. Spam Bite, use Blessing as often as possible)
In the third slot I had Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling with Breath, Bombing Run and Decoy but I didn't need it.

Clockwork Gnome with Build Turret + Repair is ridiculously effective on this team because the damage will keep going when you're interrupted and while you heal for multiple rounds. And Chrominius does work well as the first pet because even though it seems like he's losing, Arcane Blast whittles down the enemy team to where your other pets will easily mop up.

All 6 Draenor Master Tamers can be beaten with only a Sprite Darter Hatchling, Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and a carry pet.

If you follow the order listed, you can carry a single pet from lvl 1 to lvl 25 every day through the Master Tamers and all it takes are those same 2 pets for every fight.

This fight is really easy if you have Emerald proto whelp (destruction). This might be slow, but you can kill all 3 flying pets with a single dragon.

Serendepity was chewing up any pet i started with so i found Sunreaver Micro-Sentry in my lineup and easily killed first two pets and was able to clean up with Nether Faerie Dragon and a carry pet.

Simple 2 pet strategy (the above guide without all the waffle)
You will need:

Chrominius
Arcane Explosion Ancient Blessing Surge of Power

Nexus Whelpling
Arcane Storm Mana Surge

1) Start with Chrominius
2) Use Arcane Explosion (yes it will get counterspelled)
3) Arcane Explosion
4) Ancient Blessing
5) Arcane Explosion
6) Arcane Explosion
7) Pass turn
8) Ancient Blessing
9) Arcane Explosion
10) Arcane Explosion
11) Surge of Power (Chrominius will die before casting it unless you get a very lucky miss, don't worry)
12) Switch to carry then to Nexus Whelpling immediately
13) Arcane Storm
14) Mana Surge

With three flying animals, what you want at the front of your troupe is the Nordrassil Wisp. After that I put in Magical Slimes.

The first thing her moth will do is Stun, then a Block. Kick off with Arcane Explosion until the Block is over, which is strong against all three and makes a mess of the back line. Then go to our old favourites "Flash" and "Light". This leaves you with more Arcane Explosions. Rinse and Repeat.

Miss chances are 50-50, but if you do good you can get past Grace with the Blind attacks.

The Slimes will finish the job the Wisp started with a bit of all three Magic attacks.

Grace will cast Thunderstorm, which tends to make the fight very easy for YOU, not Taralune.

I used:
Clockwork Gnome - (Metal Fist], Repair, Build Turret)
Arcane Eye - (Focused Beams, Eyeblast, Mana Surge)
Lowlevel pet

If you are going to lvl your lowlvlpet, take it out when Taralune takes out her 3 pet. (Since that pet wont hit on the first round its out) and swap back till Clockwork Gnome again. Let him die and to finish it off with Arcane Eye. Or if you are going to take a Elekk with you, just leave it without swaping.

Start off with Clockwork Gnome and go for Build Turret, hit Repair after that.
Do Build Turret again and try to keep those upp all the time.
Do Metal Fist in between, you should kill this pet easly.
2 pet Taralune takes out will do Call lightning
This ability will work in a benefit for our Turret and backhit Taralune's pet.
If youre lucky, you will end upp killing the 2 with almost only youre Turret
And just do Metal Fist in between
Depending on the crits from the flying pets, the Gnome can die here but its not for sure!
If hes still alive, try to have Build Turret upp all the time and hit Metal Fist.
If hes dead, take out youre Arcane Eye and use Mana Surge (wich i freeeaking love btw) This ability hits for 3 round, and the 3 pet will die.

I have to say that this pet team work just geat for me anyway. Have to love the Turret combo with the lightning and Mana Surge massives hits on the flying pets.

A P/P Emerald proto whelp with Emerald Bite, Emerald Presence and Emerald Dream (to use around half HP) will gnaw up all the enemy's pets. You can bring Chrominus to kill the 1st pet (with the strategy posted by Tritox and Ofire) and a leveling pet

Emerald Proto Whelp is the Ultimate Flying Killer, expecially when said flying pets use call Lightning and Emerald Presence makes you immune to it

My 2 cents

Nordrasil Wisp (2,1,2)
Oily Slimeling (1,1,1)
Mini Mindslayer ( 2,2,2)

Wisp starts. Use 2x Aracne explosion (the first will be counterspelled) the second one will be blocked (but the 2 in the back will be hit)
then go with Flash and then Light, then one or two arcane explosions and the first one is down.

second pet comes and your second pet will too choose Slimeling

Grace will cast lightning Weather and you should go with corrosion -> Expunge most likley to kill the second pet and leaving you with halfish hp
next pet comes go corrosion again and ooze touch if you survived

third pet comes and you can use mana surge witch will most likley kill it =)

For the 2 pets I went with Clockwork Gnome and Lil'Tarecgosa

Turret every CD, Metal Fist otherwise until death
Arcane Winds, Arcane Blast until Surge of Power can finish it off

I just two-manned this group with a Arcane Eye and Pandaren Water Spirit.

Used Water jet first to soak the silence, then Geyser/Whirlpool combination and continue water jetting until win.

Used arcane eye once the water spirit died. Mana surge until it was done, drain power and focus beams on the last two pets.

Never have I seen my arcane eye so useful! Didn't even have to use Chrominius!

Really easy fight with a sprite darter/ fairy dragon this is my strat for the awfully big adventure.

put the plush in first to eat the stun (I actually just let my sprite go first and it still worked for me)
put your sprite darter in, arcane blast to get rid of the cocoon, then storm then blast til its dead.

new pet comes in use life exchange (it will get pretty low here, havent had it die though) mash arcane blast til its dead.

refresh arcane storm as needed and use life exchange if it comes back up again.

I have yuolon as a back up with life exchange and breath and the shell thing. could probably just use any dragon/ magic pet in place of yulon like I said it's just a back up for me, never had to use.

I've beaten this one before but it was the easiest ever using a s/b clockwork gnome and p/b emerald proto-whelp.

Start with clockwork gnome - build turret, then repair, then metal fist till cooldowns expire. Gnome will die but with the rez and a 2nd use of repair, you can finish the first and at least half of the second opponent.

Brought in Emerald Proto-whelp using emerald bite. It will kill 2nd opponent and it killed the 3rd in two rounds. I had up emerald bite - ancient blessing - proto-strike but I only used emerald bite.

3rd pet can be anything. I've used Disgusting oozeling which eats up flying pets but tried something different for a change.

Braindead easy strategy for 2-pet. Carry pet won't take damage.

Chrominius: Arcane explosion until dead. Do not be tempted to use any other abilities, it's pointless.

Switch in level pet. Switch in Nexus Whelpling.

Nexus Whelpling: Arcane Storm, Mana Surge. All 3 enemies die.

I've used this strategy half a dozen times now, it seems to always work. EDIT: In 30+ fights, it's only failed once due to an unlucky string of crits. I strongly recommend it.

Blossoming Ancient can solo this fight. Take Ironbark, Photosynthesis, and Sunlight. Open with Sunlight, put Photosythesis on and just keep those up. Use Ironbark whenever you do not need to reapply Sunlight/Photosynthesis. Allows 2 carry pets. Sub them in on the third pet immediately after each Moth Balls and the Blossoming Ancient should not die. Each carry pet need about 500 HP. 750 if aquatic, 350 if dragonkin.

Found this...and a lot of other fights, pretty much cake for leveling pets.

I use Bling Load inflation, Plating and make it rain for most fights. I used gift for this fight
2nd pet was Sunreaver Microsentry Laser, Plating and Call. I would say it worked with this fight, but was effective, not "great"
My carry pet

I started with my carry pet, it was stunned but able to swap. Swapped to Sunreaver, Plating, Call, beam,Beam, dead,beam,dead then Bling. Package, make it rain, inflation. Dead at the end of package cool down, revived, package again, win

I TRY to use cheap pets for these battles as many people are missing quite a bit of pets that are listed for many fights. I think it does justice to advanced players/collectors but makes it difficult for newer battlers or those whom just have not collected pets to make it easier.

I hope this helps. I used the same team for the Pet Master in Frostlands, same rotation, worked just as effective and got my lvl 9 pet 7 levels ;)

Easily 2 petted with Chrominius (Arcane Explosion, Ancient Blessing, Surge of Power) and Lil' Tarecgosa (Arcane Blast, Surge of Power, Arcane Storm).

3rd slot was for my carry pet. I basically Arcane Blasted everything to death with Lil' Tarecgosa after Chrominius died.

Since putting together this team late December I've had very high success with the following team:

Nether Roach (any breed, however S/S are risky) with

Nether Blast

Sprite Darter Hatchling or Nether Faerie Dragon (recommend S/B, but S/S usually works) with

Open with Nether Roach against Serendipity.

Nether Blast - immune to Counterspell
Nether Blast - Cocoon Strike blocks, but damage increases
Nether Blast x3, Serendipity dies, Grace enters
Nether Blast

Nether Roach dies next round.

Swap in Carry/Leveling Pet, no requirements.

Put in play Sprite Darter Hatchling

Moonfire replacing Grace's Call Lightning
Arcane Blast, Grace dies, Atonement enters.

I tryied previous combs mentioned here and wasnt working, so i did one myself, and worked very nicelly!

Chrominius
- Arcane Explosion
- Ancient Blessing
- Surge of Power

and
Moonkin Hatchling
- Solar Beam
- Indiferent
- Moonfire

3° pet was Elekk pushie and didnt even went into battle.

Started with Arcane Explosion, negated by stun, 2° was Ancient Blessing, then 3xArcane Explosion, Ancient Blessing again because hes going to use cocoon, Arcane Explosion to break off cocoon, and Surge of Power to finish off Serendipity.
Grace enter into battle and kills Chrominius, call your Moonkin Hatchling and use Moonfire and Solar Beam right after that, you will finish off Grace taking very little damage.
For Atonement use the same combination. First Moonfire, and finisht it with Solar Beam.

You won!

The one I always use to level a pet:

Chrominius
Nexus Whelpling
Carry/Plushie

-Start with carry pet to take the initial stun
-Switch to Chrominius
-Arcane Explosion until down around 500 health
-Surge of Power kills Serendipity
-Chrominius dies to Grace, switch to Nexus
-Arcane Storm
-Mana Surge should one shot Grace and Atonment in successive blasts.

It took me a few combinations, but I found it worked really well with just the Clockwork Gnome, using Launch Rocket as much as allowed, and repair when it cast cocoon. When he failed the Nexus whelpling finished the last pet off nicely. Also got my Elekk Plushie through!

Chrominius and Emerald Proto-Whelp easy win.

Start with Chrominius and spam Arcane Explosion, use Ancient Blessing when dipping low and finish of with Surge of Power.

With Emerald Proto use Emerald Presence to neglect Call Lightning and Slice Wind combo. Spam Emerald Bite and use Emerald Dream when around 40% hp. Just make sure you have stacks of Emerald Presence while in dream.

This one has given me lots of trouble, especially since I don't carry duplicate pets. I finally decided that what I needed to combat the nettlesome first pet was a good mechanical (resistant to magic attacks) with magic attacks of its own to slam the moth.

I decided on the following 2-pet / carry pet strategy:

Carry pet (that can withstand a 200-300 point first attack)
Rascal-Bot (P/B) (1,1,1) (Phaser, Lens Flare, Amber Prison)
Nexus Whelpling (P/B) (2,2,2) (Frost Breath, Mana Surge, Arcane Storm)

Open with your carry pet and let him soak Serendipity's Counterspell. Use one attack, then swap to your Rascal-Bot.
Pass or use Phaser, as Serendipity will be cocooned.
Serendipity will then use Counterspell to stun your Rascal-Bot.
Pass to allow stun to wear off.
Use Lens Flare which will apply Partially Blinded to Serendipity.
From here, just Phaser until Serendipity dies.
When Grace comes in, it will do a Call Lightning that will probably kill your Rascal-Bot.
When he revives (due to failsafe) use Lens Flare to partially blind Grace and then use Phaser until Rascal-Bot dies (this is gravy; you don't have to do any damage to Grace with Rascal-Bot to win).
Swap in your Nexus Whelpling, apply Arcane Storm, then hit Mana Surge.
Mana Surge will kill Grace, and might finish off Atonement. If Atonement is still alive at the end of Mana Surge, use Frost Breath, which should finish Atonement off.

ELLEK PLUSHIE BUILD

I used:
Arcane Eye (rare power & speed version) using Psychic Blast, Drain Power and Mana Surge.
Jade Oozeling (rare health & speed version) using Ooze Touch, Corrosion and Expunge.
Elekk Plushie

Start off with Arcane Eye using spells 1-1-2-3. Serendipity should now be dead. Serendipity stuns you right off the start and blocks you with his Cocoon strike so that's why I used my little spells first.

Next is Grace, stick with Arcane Eye and use spell 1. Arcane Eye will die.

Select Jade Oozeling using spells 3-1. Grace should die.

Next is Atonement, use spells 2-1-3. You should now win.

Taralune's moths are pretty tough, but I'm gonna show you how to beat her with a carry pet on your team. Thankfully, there are a lot of great anti-flying pets out there to help. The one you'll need the most is the Nexus Whelpling, specifically the P/P breed. If you have two of them, use two of them, but if you only have one, that's alright too. You probably have something else laying around that's just as capable at finishing off the last moth or two. If you're interested in the Nexus Whelpling, you can find them around Coldarra in the Borean Tundra.

If you've followed my guides for Ashlei, Vesharr, and Cymre Brightblade, your carry pet should be level 20 by now. Whatever that pet is, we're going to put him to some use now. If you have not followed my guides, rest assured that Serendipity's Counterspell will not do very much damage (199), so you should still be able to carry a low level pet as long as it has over 199 health or some sort of lifesaving mechanic, like magic or mechanical racials. It can sit in for the first round, and then you can swap in your first Nexus Whelpling.

Here's my strategy for Taralune:

Load up your Nexus Whelplings with:

Serendipity is a nightmare, so you'll want to get her out of the way first. Just open with Arcane Storm whenever you can, which will probably be on round 2, since Serendipity's Counterspell will interrupt your first round, and immediately go into Mana Surge. Hopefully, you get to use all charges of your Mana Surge before your Nexus Whelpling bites the dust.

When it does, swap in your carry pet, which should be level 20 if you've followed my guides so far. Use it to do some damage to Grace, but swap out at any time to your second Nexus Whelpling and just use Mana Surge, unless the weather is Call Lightning. Then, you should use your Arcane Storm again, then follow it up with Mana Surge. Atonement should be dead by the time it's over.

If your carry pet was leveled to 20 off Ashlei, Vesharr, and Cymre Brightblade, gets all the experience from this battle, and you have a Safari Hat on, your pet will instantly be leveled to a few bars into 22, further improving that pet's ability to hold its own as you finish your remaining pet battle daily.

This battle was super easy with Fragment of Anger (1,1,1) and Chrominius (2,2,2). Start off with Fragment of Anger's Spitfire Beam to eat the cocoon and damage the backline pets. Follow up with Soulrush. Finish off with Spiritfire Bolt. For Chrominius I used Arcane Explosion and finished off the last hit with Surge of Power.

My strategy is:
1. Rapana Whelk or any Snail(1,1,1)
2. Nexus Whelping(1,2,2)
3. carry

The snail doesn't get stunned and Ooze Touch is strong against birds. Acidic Goo for 25% damage. Arcane Torrent in Arcane Storm just rips any birds.

So i just found another 2 pet solution to allow for the use of lvl 1 carry pets/plushie.
Note that it is RGN on the second move, if you don't get a stun it wont work.

Sentinal's Companion 2, 2, 1
Chrominus ?, 1, 2
Carry pet.

Start with Moonfire.
soulrush. if it doesn't stun then reset.
Dark talon, this will hit the next moth.

moonfire as soon as it's off CD to get rid of the storm.
kill the second moth.

when the third moth comes out, he does not attack right away so switch your carry pet in. then switch back to sentinal to take the hit and likely die before you can do anything.

switch to chrominus, how then surge of power.

If the current upvoted tactic is 100% without need to reset then this here is really only useful for if you happen to have sentinal and not faerie.

I read tactics, using Magical etc...

Didn't work very well.. to put it mildly.

I used a pet named Clockwork Gnome, as opener.
Set his skills to 1, 1, 1. (Metal Fist, Repair, Build Turret)

Use ability #3 whenever available.
Use ability #1 facepunch whenever, and heal when needed.
This pet alone has ridiculous results compared to 3 magical, I killed 2 of her pets with this pet alone.

After that, I had another Mechanical (Pocket Reaver), and one Magical (Disgusting Oozeling) as "backup"... However, it doesn't have to be those two exact pets, the first one does most of the work, I think any Mech + Magic will work just fine.

Finished off the last pet with Ooze one, but didn't really matter because the Clockwork Midget had already murdered the whole team she had.

Easy. 2 pet + 1 for leveling.

1. Start with Chrominius.
2. First "Surge of Power"
3. Second (pick one) "Arcane Explosion"(dmg) or "Ancient Blessing" (heal if you need)
4. Swap to Emerald Proto-Whelp
5. Start with "Emerald Presence" (dmg reduction, ALWAYS update this)
6. "Emerald Bite"
7. Repeat "Emerald Bite" or "Emerald Dream" if you are at 50-60% health.
8. Repeat this until you finish (or you can swap to Chrominius and use "Surge of Power" again).

Really, you can solo this with a rare lvl 25 Emerald Proto-Whelp.
Important: Be sure you use the Dragonkin's +50% bonus dmg.

Managed to beat her with a h/h snail, took out the first moth and lived through the lightning storm of the second, dove and dodged the moth dust, then switched to emerald proto whelp, bought a few turns to get the emerald shield up and then hybernated to dodge the potential stun from moth dust, after that it was easy going

I use a Nether Faerie Dragon (P/H), and a Sprite Darter Hatchling (S/S), but using two Nether Faeries will work, since they're practically the same pet.

Start off with a few Arcane Blasts to get through the Counter Spell and Coucoon without wasting your cooldowns, Life Exchange when you start to get low, and then Arcane Blast until the first moth is dead. Save Moonfire to get rid of Lightning Storm.

Bring in your carry pet (can be level 1) as soon as the last moth swaps in, but don't attack. Just swap it right back out. Should be no problem to kill the last moth with one Life Exchange and a few Arcane Blasts.

An Emerald Proto Whelp will quite happily solo all 3

All you need to do is keep self healing from the very start and use Emerald Bite when your healing is on CD. You'll finish the fight with practically full hp and never even look at your other 2 pets.

So this is the 2 carry build I've been using and it's been working pretty well.

1: Carry Pet (199+ Health)
2: Silkbead Snail 1,1,1(any snail with Ooze Touch should work, though)
3: Emerald Whelpling 2,1,1 (kinda rare, I know. Maybe some other whelp will work?)

Start with carry pet and let it soak the stun.

Switch to Silkbead Snail

Dive to avoid the next attack (hits for ~399)

Ooze Touch until snail dies.

Bring in Emerald Whelpling.

Cast Tranquility and make sure to keep it up.

Cast Moonfire on CD

Cast Emerald Bite as filler.

I ended the fight with my Emerald Whelpling at full health.

Arcane Explosion while Serendipity casts Counterspell again (no stun this time due to Resilient).
Surge of Power kills Serendipity after Feedback strikes.
Grace switches in.
Grace casts Call Lightning, killing Chrominius (who is recharging from Surge of Power).
Switch to leveling pet. (*)
Immediately switch to Nexus Whelpling. Grace casts Moth Dust.
If Nexus Whelpling is Asleep from Moth Dust, then pass and hope Grace doesn't get too lucky with Slicing Wind!
Arcane Storm while Grace spams Slicing Wind.
Mana Surge kills Grace. (Note: This strategy can fail if Grace gets lucky with RNG and kills Nexus Whelpling before Mana Surge strikes.)
Atonement switches in.

(*) This is absolutely the best trick for leveling a pet safely. Many people believe that a leveling pet must use an ability (or pass) for at least one round to get credit for the battle. That is only true for pets in the first slot. Otherwise, switching in and back out immediately is sufficient to get credit for the battle. That normally still exposes the leveling pet to a possible attack on the round when it switches in. However, switching in a replacement for a dead pet is free -- the opponent does not get to use an ability during the switch. (This also works after using an ability like Haunt, which mimics death.) Using this trick, the leveling pet gets credit for the battle without ever being exposed to front-line attacks. If the opposing team has no back-line attacks, this guarantees that the leveling pet will take no damage at all!

This is a good strat. But When chromie dies, I use plushie to soak up the sleep(if it hits) and then switch to Nether Faerie Dragon. That's the only way it worked for me. I also had to count out how many arcane explosions so I didn't mess up and hit him as he was cocooned.

This strategy can work, however it's very RNG dependent. On the very first round, Chrominius will more often than not get stunned, forfeiting his turn. OP doesn't even mention this stun in his post, anywhere. I'm not sure what the stun chance is, but it hits far more often than it misses.

Hey all I just beat this combo with Chrominius, Nether Faerie Dragon and had Lil'Tarecgosa.

Didn't need to use LT. Just used Chromo-started with Howl, then Surge of Power then Arcane Explosion until he died then NFD with Moonfire, Arcane Blast then used Life Exchange on Atonement as he enters. . Easy peasy.

Used this setup today to level my Direbeak Hatchling (I assume it works the same for the other Falcosaur hatchlings, being the same type, as well as other leveling pets except for Aquatic type)

Bring out the leveling pet first and use an ability; doesn't matter got stunned* (took 299 damage)

I beat her with Emmigosa, Silkbead snail and Infinite Whelpling (all lvl 25 and rare) in that order. Took a bunch of tries but dragonkin worked better for me than two snails and the infine whelpling which I tried first and maybe 50th. This one was hard. Seems that the first moth is the hardest. First pet does one hit then cocoon block so don't waste a cooldown strike on the second strike. The Surge of Power that Emmigosa does (magic) is great to wear down the first moth, I did it on the third strike. I don't have many of the other pets suggested at lvl 25 so this is what I succeeded with. Just FYI.

An Awfully Big Adventure

Elekk Plushie soak the first three hits swap to Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling.

Use Breath until you are one breath from killing her first pet, then use Decoy and finish it off with breath. As the second pet enters your decoy will absorb the massive hit, allowing you to Thunderbolt to its fullest effect as her second pet casts Lightning Storm , so now just use breath until MPD drops dead.

In my battle the MPD survives a couple of rounds more, so you can bring in your Disgusting Oozeling to finish the second pet off using Ooze Touch. On the third pet you want to use Corrosion, then Expunge and then Ooze Touch in that order.

This whole fight took several attempts with different pets because those moths are very fast, and it's a task to learn this fight. This is the strategy that worked for me in the end.

I just have to say, I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate Taralune's stupid moths. I swear I spend 20 mins trying to kill them because of stupid RNG. I'm not normally a violent person but I wish terrible violence upon her devil moths!

I was having a hard time defeating Taralune with the strategies already presented, so I used Brightpaw, Lil' Bling and Arcane Eye. Brightpaw died (Used Arcane Storm then spammed Arcane Blast), Lil'Bling died but resurrected with a little health (Launch Rocket and Blingtron Gift Package), and Arcane Eye (Mana Surge) came out of it with a little under 1/2 health . Hope that helps someone else not able to get the above strategies to work for them.

I did this with Emerald Proto Welp 2/1/2 and Celestial Dragon 1/1/1.

Level Pet
-Take 1st 3 hits ~600 damage I think?
-Swap

Emerald Proto-Whelp
-Emerald Bite
-Emerald Dream
-Emerald Bite
-Ancient Blessing
-Rinse & repeat until you die
-Swap

Celestial Dragon
-Flamethrower
-Moonfire
-Ancient Blessing
-Flamethrower
-Flamethrower
-Moonfire
-Ancient Blessing
-Rinse and repeat until dead

This worked for me twice, and I had to log off for a bit. Let me know how it goes!

I was pleased to beat her on my first try! My team:

Lost of LordaeronLost of Lordaeron, rare, 25,
Rapana Whelk, Rapana Whelk rare, 25,
Emerald Proto-Whelp, rare, 25,

Arcane Explosion nonstop until Lost of Lordaeron dies. The first pet will be down to about 20%, and the others will have a good chunk of their health whittled away.

Throw up the snail's shield and spam Ooze Touch until dead.

Throw up whelp's shield and Emerald Bite the last pet down. Use the big three-round heal as soon as you get to aboutt 40% health.

FYI, I'm still amazed by how often the Rapana Whelk snail comes in handy in master battles!

I managed this with two pets so you could potentially swap your carry pet after the first hit so you get xp.

This is not my strategy but was the only one I found worked to level a 1 pet. Taken from Xu-Fu's pet battle strategies website, Author Felina:

Very easy lvl 1 pet exp is nexus whelpling mechanical dragon
Round 1 Arcane Storm
Round 2 Arcane Storm
Round 3 Mana Surge
Serendipity dies
Round 4 Mana surge keeps going
Round 5 Nexus dies
Round 6 Dragon in thunderbolt
Round 7 Dragon Breath
Grace dies
Round 8 use dragon breath till atonement is 600hp or below and explode last pet gets all exp

I put my level one (any health) in second slot, never brought them in as they come in at the end after all are dead.

Arcane Storm + Mana Surge,
After the first Whelpling dies, Swap to Carry Pet
Swap back to next Whelp ling.
Arcane Storm + Mana Surge

RNG will sodomize you if you get put to sleep like two to three times in a row. So that may fail.

Foolproof tactic:

Arcane Eye (1,2,2)
Carry pet at least level 11-12 (needs to survive a total of 580-600 dmg)
Enchanted Lantern (1,2,2)

Arcane Eye
Focused Beams (first time the opponent will stun you, so will have no effect)
Focused Beams (second time will be blocked by the opponent's cocoon)
Drain Power
Mana Surge
Focused Beams
- Serendipity dies
Use Focused Beams until Arcane Eye dies.

Carry pet
Use lvl 1 damage ability (must be 1-round ability, no multi-rounds like e.g. Hunting Party, Flock, etc.)

Enchanted Lantern
Illuminate
Flash
Beam
- Grace dies
Use Beam until Illuminate is off cooldown and repeat.
- Atonement dies

Works every time.

Clockwork Gnome and Emerald Proto plus a level pet( if you know what to do).

If you just wanna get it done, Clockwork Gnome and Emerald FTW.
Turret, Repair, Punch and Keep building turrets when you can.
Emerald Proto will take care of the rest.

2 pet with Chrominius + Brightpaw

Ancient Blessing 2x (first turn is interrupted by stun) > Arcane Explosion till Ancient Blessing is ready again > repeat till Chrominius Dies

Brightpaw comes in > Arcane Dash > spam Arcane Blast

Used Level 25s;
Lost of Lordaeron (2,2,2) until he died (mostly Arcane Explosion & Curse of Doom)
Stormborne Whelping (1,2,2) mostly Arcane Storm & Mana Surge, Tail Sweep at the end
didn't get to use Clockwork Gnome - so that's a freebie space

Used Chromius, then Nexus Whelpling. I had the Anubisath Idol ready, but didn't use him as the Whelpling took down the last 2 flutters.

Ok I hate this NPC so much, personally, it should be nerfed like the moment the expansion of WOD came out. Whoever made this battle pet master is a sick twisted and foul person. >:(

Now on to the help to beat the crud out them.

The pets needed are as listed and in order.:
1. Lil' Tarecgosa (2,1,2)---(Arcane Explosion will be used alot, then used Surge of Power at the end to kill the annoying pest.)
2. Nether Fearie Dragon (2,2,1)---(Moonfire, then use Life Exchange when pet is low it will help end this second round, then Arcane Blast.)
3. Chrominius (2,2,2)---(Not sure if you'll need him I didn't use him, but I guess if I'm wrong. Arcane Explosion, Ancient Blessing time it carefully, Surge of Power time it carefully too.)

Trust me it took me a good while to figure out to make it work. Good Luck.

I did this with Chrominius, Lil' Tarecgosa, and Shadowbarb Hatchling. My general strat is use each pet until it dies. :P

Elekk Plushie team 10.1.5 (very RNG, you cannot get stunned more than once in the fight, if so, start again)

Chrominius 2,2,2
Nexus Whelping 1,2,2
Elekk Plushie

Ancient Blessing x2 (first time gets stunned)
Arcane Explosion until out of Cocoon
Surge of Power
(use Ancient Blessing if cocoons again, then arcane explosion again to finish off)
Chrom dies, swap in Nexus
Arcane Storm (if you get stunned here you'll probably lose fight, start again)
Mana Surge (will finish off last two pets)

Iron starlette 121 you start like 1-3-1

you swap to elek plushie for one round for the second pet or 2 whatever you want

you swap with emerald proto drake 222, you start on the second pet 1-1-1 or maybe 1-2-3 depends, when it bugs and enemy's pet hit more than one find your stratery when to heal or to hit.

you keep going with the proto drake against third pet you can also press 2 and then 3 to heal up and you keep going like that and 1 1 1.

For An Awfully Big Adventure I used an Alpine Chipmunk (1,2,1) and a Celestial Dragon (1,2,1) and it was a breeze. Tip: start with Crouch and then Nuts and go from there.
