After completing the quest Inherit the Earth you will notice a pole outside your house on Sunsong Ranch. This pole will list work orders waiting to be filled. Doing these quests will award you with reputation gains from the group requesting the order.

You must be exalted with the Tillers and have all 16 plots of soil unlocked for the quest Inherit the Earth to become available to you.

So how does it help when you are already exalted with all those factions? Other than the extra lesser coin it goes THE NEXT day, I see no point in doing these at all.

Funny thing about the rollout of the Quest of faction X version I vs faction X II. The first time complete the first quest the 2nd automatically pops up for you. The next time, you don't get that followup until the day you go to harvest your crops. So, be wary not to pull what you planted until you check the crates at the corner of your farm !

You can still get the Daily Quest from Farmer Yoon.
Though, it seems you can only get one quest, no longer the planting quest.
He now hangs out in the middle of the market by Gina Mudclaw.

At this point it's better not to take the farm as the materials sell more on the AH than using them for the daily work orders. Unless of course you need rep; but in that case, you might as well just do the regular faction dailies.

Its a nice 400 rep bump to add to the rep you are grinding and once you hit the level you want to get to - some are not that bothered about exalted as its only mounts - then you can farm other things.

Add the modifiers and it works out to be (for example) almost 4 dailies for some faction like the Golden Lotus. It is a handy tool to help add a little more rep for little effort, albeit quite dull :P

Is this daily not possible for the order of the cloud serpent? If not, why..? :) What is the requirements for fractions to appear in this quest? F.e. with my mage I only got this for Klaxxi, but my main lock I could rep with this daily for the golden lotus, august, klaxxi, operation shieldwall, and shadopan. With my mage, I am honored with the order of the cloud serpent but I hate those dailies in the arboretum, so I was hoping this would help... appearently not. :(

I don't understand the necessity of doing this every day if you're already exalted with the Tillers or the other factions involved. Is there not a point where this is ended? Hope someone will fill me in on it.

Here is a list of what you would need to buy/plant/harvest for each faction in the daily "Work Order:" quests.

Faction........................Plant/Harvest 8/40
Dominance Offensive..Red Blossom Leek
Klaxxi...........................Mogu Pumpkin
Shado-Pan..................Green Cabbage
August Celestials.........Striped Melon
Golden Lotus...............White Turnip
Sunreaver Onslaught..Scallion

Be sure to ask Jogu the Drunk which crop to plant/will be producing extra the next day. Doing so gives you the knowledge so you can yield some extra veggies in addition to the ones you use in completing these quests.

I'm at the Work Orders point now. Have done a few. Now most everything I plant has some issue--weed or critter. My reward for my labor? Better varmints and weeds? And probably gonna die a slow death due to the Pest Repeller poison. Edit: Rewards: I can get skin from plants (eww) to sell in AH...for example.

I had a bit of trouble with getting the board to become present, I thought i did all the quests and i upgraded my farm and everything, after completing my farm i got a letter in the mail from Nana Mudclaw and didnt think anything of it because it didnt tell me to do anything and i disregarded it and a couple months later i found out that there was a work order board and i thought there was a bug cause i thought i completed everything and so much time had passes i wasnt sure if there was a quest i missed and i opened a ticket and they said they would send a message to the people reporting a bug, but i just finished my farm with my alt and when my alt got the letter i checked in on nana mudclaw and she had a quest inherit the earth with is the last quest and when you complete that the board appears on your farm in place of Yoon since he leaves, Nana is located in the halfhill area, if you fly over the halfhill town area there should be a yellow quest marker for where she is its on the higher part of the hill in a house, you would have had to see her earlier in the questing for the quest where you get her the 1000 year old water and some vegies. sorry the comment is so long but i hope it helps anyone who is stuck like i was.

An important thing to note, something I found out to my expense:

If when planting the crops you end up with a bursting ripe one - plant another single crop of the same variety after you harvest.

This is because it will say 1/8 of the crops harvested...

but... because this relies on the daily 0800 (uk time) reset - that 1/8 disappears.. so if you didn't plant another one, you'll have to wait a whole day more to get the quest completed.

This is not a bug, it is because of the reset across the servers.

If you can't find it, go up to Nana Mudclaw up in the top house for the 'Inheret the Earth' quest to unlock it when you're exalted with all 16 farm plots.
