RANGED!!!!!!! you need to get into melee range before you kill the warp chaser. if you dont the imp wont get the blood.

Be careful when pulling, if you fight 2 at the same time, the imp will just recognize one corpse (at least it did for me)... not a real problem since "drop rate" is 100% :)

This is the easiest 11G I've made in the game.

The Warp Chasers are plentiful in the area right around where you get the quest. They hit moderatly hard and use poison, but are otherwise not a big deal.

Just make sure that you're close to them when they die and the imp collects blood every single time.

There doesn't appear to be any sort of follow-up. This is just something to do while you wait for your party to get ready for Tempest Keep.

If some are stressing with the drop rate, It's not the rate that messes with you!
You actually need to stand on the corpse, for about 2 secs, and the imp will take the blood!

Zeppit counts as a pet (non combat). I tried to bring out my netherwhelp pet and he was desummoned.

Lots of the Warp Chasers just north, right around where the manaforge pipe is overhead.

If you're skinning and have an instinct to autoloot then autoloot skin like I do, slow it down! The imp needs a bit of time to collect the blood from the body, if you get rid of the corpse too fast you won't get the blood.

No one tells the CORRECT way to collect the vial.
As mentioned above, you need to summon the imp first.
AND YOU NEED TO BE HIT BY THE WARP CHASER.
Then you will get a 100% drop rate.
You never realize it if you are a melee class. You will think its 100% drop rate.
You will get frustrated if you are a ranged dps who kills them without being single hit. You get 0% drop rate unless you get charged by them.
My hunter killed 20+ and got none. I made a lot of experiment to find it out after cursing Blizz for a couple of minutes. :-P

Just a heads up for lvl 80s.

- Remember to bring out your imp (You get a crystal to summon him with).
- Don't pull loads and AoE, he'll only drain one at a time.
- Ranged players, keep close to the Warp Chasers when you kill them!
- Don't one shot them at a distance, the imp won't drain them unless he's within 10y of the mob.

Emphasis on the "Bloody Imp" part.

As an 80 I was killing the warpstalkers well before they were within minimum range with just autoshot. I couldn't get the darn thing to gather the blood unless I meleed the mobs down.

Remember, if you have a vanity pet addon (such as Kennel) that auto-summons your little furballs, to turn off auto-summoning, otherwise your imp will keep getting replaced by Mr. Chilly and you won't get updates!

What's the point of this quest?
It doesn't unlock any other quest.
I got no quest sending me to Sab'oth or to Cosmowrench
I got no other quest in Cosmowrench either.
This quest is quite unusual, it's not like the rest of the WoW quests, which are linked to other quests in a way or other.

Is it a reference to something like a TV show or a book or smth?

1. Bloody Imp-ossible!
• Accept the quest, Bloody Imp-ossible!, from Sab'aoth at coords 66.4, 67.2 (Cosmowrench).
• Click on the Zeppit's Crystal, you were provided to summon Zeppit.
• Locate and target Warp Chaser mobs around Cosmowrench. Either use a Taunt ability to pull it to you, or run up to it (especially if you are playing a high-level toon).
• Kill the Warp Chaser and Zeppit will Gather Warp Chaser Blood for you.
• Collect 8 Warp Chaser Blood.
• Travel back to Cosmowrench, to coords 66.4, 67.2.
• Turn in the quest to Sab'aoth.

NOTE: If you're mounted, Zepit may disappear and require you to click its crystal to resummon it before you kill any other Warp Chasers.

Bring 8 vials of Warp Chaser Blood to Sab'aoth at Cosmowrench.

Description

The blood of the warp chasers in this area is a powerful and rare reagent. It's one of my biggest sellers.

Normally, I take my imp, Zeppit, out to help me gather it. Warp chaser blood is simply too caustic to be handled safely by you or I, but it doesn't bother Zeppit.

Things are getting busier here at the shop, so if I send Zeppit with you, will you help gather the blood? Zeppit's attention tends to wander, so you'll need to be close to the chaser when it dies for Zeppit to do his work.
