A great way to return to the quest givers is to hotkey the Rocket Pack from this quest.

Once hotkeyed use it to climb up and over the mountain, rather then go around.

Just be careful not to shoot yourself to high over the mountain, you'll get hurt.

Dragon meat for dogs.. There are some deer meat right in front of them. Spoiled pups if you ask me. But I guess the dragons have to be killed anyway.
