Argus is not offering the quest for my 85 Blood Elf pala, do I need to be at a certain rep rank to get this quest ?

If you are looking for Argus Highbeacon, the quest giver, he's at the top of the tower. The light up there can make him almost impossible to see.

Unrelated to the quest, but might be useful: After talking to Argus atop Crown Guard Tower, I levitated off the top as a shortcut (jumped to the left of Argus) and ended up getting Going Down?!

If you run like 5 yards away, they will stop casting the Terrifying Screech.

You will able to see the Questgiver ONLY if you are starting the Questline with Fiona, he's on the top of the Crown Guard Tower.

This Quest begins at Crown Guard tower, but you have to do Fiona's quests at the border from Western Plaguelands before Argus Highbeacon will have a quest for you. Kind of a pain in the bum if you just want the boots for transmog like I did, but they're pretty so it's okay.

It may be in your best interest to only fight 2 bats at a time- any more than that and you risk getting chain feared into oblivion.

Description

The Argent Crusade built these towers to be points of light in the darkness of the Plaguelands. I walk the paths between these towers, protecting and maintaining them.

The roads have been dangerous lately. Plagued wildlife runs rampant, and bats swoop down upon unsuspecting travelers. It would make the next leg of my journey much easier if you could clear some of this wildlife out of the way for me.
