A recreation of the battle from A Destiny of Flame and Sorrow, the penultimate mission of the Night Elf Campaign in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, taking place shortly before the Battle for Mount Hyjal. Following this encounter, Illidan was exiled from the night elf lands by his brother, Malfurion.

Could someone post a list of the quests that are in this quest chain?
I can't seem to get the quest from Huntress Selura to go to the demon hunter that gives this quest.

Illidan and Tichondrius appear and face off each other.

Tichondrius says: What? Who are... you?
Illidan Stormrage says: Let's see how confident you are against one of your own kind, dreadlord.

After you help to defeat Tichondrius, Malfurion and Tyrande appear.

Malfurion Stormrage says: Foul demon! What have you done with my brother?
Illidan Stormrage says: It is I, Malfurion. This is what I've become.
Tyrande Whisperwind says: No! Illidan, how could you?
Illidan Stormrage says: The leader of the undead has been destroyed, and the forests will heal in time.
Malfurion Stormrage says: At the cost of your soul? You are no brother of mine! Begone from this place, and never set foot in our lands again!
Illidan Stormrage says: So be it... brother.

Yeah, I don't get why he said the "leader of the undead" had been destroyed. Since when did Tichondrius have anything to do with the scourge? I thought he was part of the burning legion. Those are demons, not undead. :/

Or did he think he had defeated Arthas? Hmmm...

This is funny. In my recreation scene, Tichondrius actually defeated Illidan, then just kept repeating "What? Who are...you?" I noticed I could attack him, so I did. The quest promptly failed. Even afterward, he just stood there repeating "What? Who are...you?" The only way I could get this quest to succeed was to become involved in the recreation, attacking Tichondrius.

To all who wonders, Tichondrius was appointed as 'leader of Scourge' by Archimonde in the middle of WC3. Archimonde believed, seeing that the Legion has already begun the invasion, that he wouldn't need Ner'Zhul anymore.

This quest doesn't seem to work for me :/ At the start, illidan and tichondrius has a little talk and after that, illidan disappears and tichondrius can be attacked. Once i kill tichondrius, i get quest failed.

Several prequests are necessary before you can get Feronas Sindweller to appear for this quest. First do the three quests from Tender Puregrove (43.3 30.4). You will then be able to go to Huntress Selura (43.4 28.2) and pick up WANTED: The Demon Hunter which will lead you to Feronas Sindweller.

To expand on post by Niamh (as the quests he lists are Alliance) ...if you are Horde here are your quests to get your blues.

Do steps 1 - 13 as listed (Whisperwind Grove is neutral). Then...
14. Report to Darla Drilldozer at 56.33, 8.15 in Irontree Clearing.
15. Pick up It's Time to Oil Up & A Flare Fight.
16. Head back to Darla Drilldozer.
17. Turn in both & select reward from It's Time to Oil Up: Overworked Shoulders, Shredder Operator's Helmet, Efficiency Spell Mace, or Oil Bailer's Shield.
18. Pick up Take it to the Tree & Wisp-napping.
19. When complete, head back & turn in both. Then pick up Slap and Cap & Is Your Oil Running?.
20. Turn both in & pick reward from Slap and Cap: Oilfoot Slippers, Oil Gush Leggings, Workforce Chestguard, or Cloak of Sleep Deprivation.
21. Pick up Pikwik in Peril.
22. Head to 54.68, 18.42 in Irontree Clearing and talk to Foreman Pikwik.
23. Pick up Turn It Off! Turn It Off! & A Bomb Deal.
24. When you "shut off" the Master Control Pump at the end of the cave for Turn It Off! Turn It Off!, it will give you Fire in the Hole!.
25. Head out of cave and back to Foreman Pikwik to turn in A Bomb Deal.
26. Head to approx 55.59, 22.24 and kill Grolvitar the Everburning.
27. Head back to Darla Drilldozer and pick your reward: Gauntlets of Raw Strength, Everburning Cloak, or Drilldozer Band!

Ugh, Illidan is such an obnoxious character. His entire storyline can basically be summed up with

"Oh boohoo, people tell me not to do stuff and then I do it anyways and then they get mad at me for some reason! WHY?"

Even the paladin class hall questline was just an Illidan apologist storyline. "Well what would YOU do?" I would not murder my own people.

He just always assumes evil is going to win and so he does evil things to come out on top. Well have a little damn confidence! You don't see anyone else becoming a demon to kill the burning legion. Paladins are smarter. we fight fire with WATER. A novel idea right?
